The rubbish bin had been knocked over as well.

It seems like it had been days since the helper had visited.

“Brother, are you at home?” Fang Xinxin raised her voice to ask.

There wasn’t any response. Only the main bedroom door was tightly shut.

She guessed that he was inside.

The instant she twisted the doorknob and opened the door, a thick scent of alcohol assaulted her senses.

The entire room was filled with the heavy scent of alcohol.

Her elder brother, Fang Shaohua, laid against the bedroom’s floor. He held a bottle of white wine with an especially high alcohol content in his hand. He appeared to be completely drunk.

“Xinxin…” He seemed to be muttering something.

Fang Xinxin leaned in and realised he was subconsciously calling her name.

Fang Shaohua’s complexion had turned red from drinking. Tears had formed around his lashes and this caused his fair, charming complexion to appear especially pitiful.

The sight of his tears caused her heart to ache.

She had treated this man like her brother since they were young. She really did not wish to see him in such a sorry state. “Brother, I’ll support you to your bed.”

She then knelt down and tugged one of his arms over her shoulder. She held his waist and stood up.

Sigh, don’t look at her brother’s thin figure.

A person’s height was important. His tall figure made him especially heavy.

She exerted a lot of strength to support him onto the bed.

She helped him lay down and was about to stand up when Fang Shaohua grabbed her hand. “Xinxin, don’t go!”

He had coincidentally tugged on her injured right hand. The wound had only just begun healing. Due to his sudden force, it began bleeding again.

He grabbed her with too much strength and caused her to fall back against the bed. The blood from her wound stained the sheets.

Fang Shaohua abruptly turned over and pressed her under him. His gaze was misty from the alcohol but the emotions were deep enough to drown someone. “Xinxin, I love you! I really love you!”

The drunk person confessed his deepest feelings for her in his low, husky voice.

Fang Xinxin stiffened. She had already guessed this.

But he had always concealed it very well.

This was her first time that her brother openly confessed his feelings to her. She was dumbstruck to the point where she was nearly dazed.

“Brother, don’t do this…” She returned to herself with some astonishment.

She hoped for him to only treat her like a sister. This was because she had no way of accepting his love.

“Xinxin, am I dreaming?” He gently caressed her hair.

“Brother, sit up first…” She was pressed down under him. Even if the two of them were adopted siblings, this was extremely inappropriate.

“No…” He shook his head. “Xinxin, I love you…”

“You can’t do this…” She lifted her hands to push him away.

However, it was impossible for her to compete with his strength. Furthermore, her right hand was wounded. She really could not push him off.

She watched as his lips pressed near hers. She had no way of escaping and could only cover her lips.

His kiss landed on the back of her hand.

Fang Xinxin’s expression was slightly poor.

She could only treat it as they did abroad; a kiss as a form of greeting.

She really did not wish to harm her elder brother. However…

If this went on any further, things would go out of control.

She could not let Bai Qinghao down. Thus, she concentrated and activated her abilities. Her gaze turned cold as one of the bottles on the floor flew towards them and smashed against the back of Fang Shaohua’s neck.
