Rebirth of the Heavenly Empress Chapter 385 – Apologize!

Chapter 385: Apologize!

Her clear voice made Qi Lan snap out of his trance. His jaw dropped. “Su … Su … Missy, why are you here?”

He was completely shocked!

Although he didn’t know much about Unknown Island, he was very clear about the fact that many big shots lined up to meet Su Huiqing. However, he didn’t expect Su Huiqing to actually come here at this time?

“I was the one who brought the Su Corporation to the International Association so, naturally, I have to be in charge.” Su Huiqing held her wine glass and looked indifferent. “Galaxy Steel has developed until now. Although there are some areas that you can’t manage, it has something to do with me. I can’t just ignore this matter.”

Su Huiqing lowered her eyes.

A cold glint flashed past his eyes.

How could she forget the incident of the Su Corporation building being blown up? How could she forget Uncle Chen helping with the explosives to seek revenge? How could she forget the faces of the Su Corporation employees she came back to, crying that her family was gone?

Since it was gone, she would revive it!

“President Qi, isn’t that your nephew? Why is he here?” A smart man in a blue suit beside Qi Lan’s uncle saw Qi Lan, as well as Su Huiqing and the rest standing beside him. He knew that Qi Lan had a conflict with his uncle. He shook his head. “He thought that he would have a chance to cooperate overseas just by coming here. He is too naive.”

Upon hearing that, Qi Lan’s uncle couldn’t help but walk towards Qi Lan with a pleasant expression. “Qi Lan, I watched you grow up. As long as you admit your mistake now and promise me that you will give up on the Su Corporation’s collaboration, I won’t pursue the matter with you. You will still be the young master of Galaxy Steel. How about that?”

Upon hearing that, Qi Lan just stared at him and sneered. “Mistake? I am not a despicable person like you!”

Seeing Qi Lan like this—although some people felt that he was a moral person, most of the sly old foxes in the business world shook their heads. This was how business wars were. The winner was king while the loser was vilified. Why would they care about morality?

Some families would even be ruthless to their brothers for the inheritance rights, not to mention an ordinary partnership.

They just felt that Qi Lan was too naive.

“Master Qi, listen to your uncle. He won’t harm you. From the start, you feel that the Su Corporation won’t affect you, but in the end, you will regret it even if you don’t have the money to eat.” A famous big shot in Area B behind Qi Lan’s uncle looked at the expensive clothes and shook his head. “No matter how well you dress, it’s useless. Don’t force yourself anymore. Just apologize to your uncle.”

“Admit my mistake?” Qi Lan glanced at the person who spoke and smiled coldly. “What do you mean ‘admit my mistake’? We have a powerful business partner. He is the one who needs to admit his mistake, alright?”

“You are really …” Qi Lan’s uncle knew that Qi Lan would not soften his stance, but he shook his head in pain.

The others sneered, thinking that Qi Lan must have suffered a blow.

It was common knowledge that Qi Lan had left Galaxy Steel. Apart from bringing some of his funds, the rest was his collaboration with the Su Corporation. This collaboration project was a dream item not long ago. However, no one wanted it now.

Qi Lan had this collaboration project in his hands, and yet he was in no hurry to make a loss. How could he be a powerful collaborator?

Where did this powerful business partner come from?

“Forget it, there’s nothing I can do if you insist on being stubborn.” Qi Lan’s uncle sighed. “Now that all the business partners in Area B are here, you know that we have to cooperate with people overseas. Your relationship with Su Corporation will easily affect us. If you continue to be stubborn, you will really have nothing to do with Galaxy Steel in the future.”

“Master Qi, so be it! We don’t want them to take advantage of us in the future!” Before Qi Lan could speak, the senior manager standing beside him glared at him.

He already knew that the Su Corporation would not be destroyed. He was even happy for Qi Lan.

However, the others looked at him strangely. What else could Qi Lan do? Most people wished they could stay a few hundred meters away from him.

“So be it.” Qi Lan quieted down.

Seeing him like this, Qi Lan’s uncle’s eyes lit up. He immediately got someone to bring over a shareholder transfer contract, afraid that Qi Lan would regret it.

It was obvious that he had prepared it beforehand. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken it out so quickly.

Previously, Qi Lan left very quickly and brought a group of people out of the Galaxy Tower. It was not a legal responsibility so Qi Lan’s uncle did this.

Qi Lan took the contract and glanced at it. There was nothing wrong with the contract.

He took his pen and was about to sign when he suddenly looked at Su Huiqing.

Su Huiqing was holding a glass of wine. When she felt his gaze from a few steps away, she stopped and turned to look at him. Her pitch-black eyes were like stars as she silently said, “Sign it.”

Qi Lan gripped his pen tightly and signed his name without hesitation.

Seeing that he had really signed the document, Qi Lan’s uncle smiled and looked in the direction Qi Lan had looked in.

She raised her head, only to see those pitch-black, cold eyes.

That person was holding a wine glass and looking at him with cold eyes. Although he didn’t speak, that arrogant aura made Qi Lan’s uncle feel uncomfortable.
