Rebirth of the Heavenly Empress Chapter 170 – Someone Doubts Queen Su

Chapter 170: Someone Doubts Queen Su

Today was a very sunny day. He stood against the blazing sunlight.

The scorching rays couldn’t overpower his harshness.

At this moment, almost everyone was stunned.

Principal Dien stood at where he was and said a few words to rouse the freshmen. Only then did the freshmen come to their senses.

Su Huiqing was still in the middle of the line as she leisurely looked up at the person standing in front. Her gorgeous and cold eyes were also stunned for a while.

She suddenly recalled what he said last night.

Other things could wait until tomorrow.

Su Huiqing squinted her eyes and smiled in a wicked manner.

Yu Shijin’s pupils constricted slightly.

Half a second later, he retracted his gaze, looked sideways slightly at Principal Dien beside him and said in a very mild tone, “Principal Dien.”

Probably because Yu Shijin’s voice was too threatening, after a long pause, Principal Dien said, “Mr. Yu?”

Yu Shijin said with cold eyes and a deep voice, “You’re lucky to meet me this time. In the future, if you go to the International Battlefield again, nobody will go and save you.”

After he finished speaking unhurriedly, he told Principal Dien, “I’m coming back.”

He turned around and walked over to Su Huiqing’s class.

Anyone who had suddenly received an emergency mission to head over to the International Battlefield to rescue someone and even had to change into the military training instructor’s uniform in the fighter jet wouldn’t be in a good mood.

If the person on the International Battlefield wasn’t Principal Dien, Yu Shijin wouldn’t rush over at all.

He pressed on the cap on his head and looked over at Su Huiqing’s class with cold eyes. “I’m the instructor of your class and my surname is Yu. Today, we’ll have combined training and tomorrow will be field training. Before we start, I’m going to pick a class monitor for the military training period.”

He gave a very simple and straightforward introduction.

“This time, it isn’t merely a field training but also a toughening experience which will decide if all of you will go to Class S or Class E in the future.” Yu Shijin squinted his eyes and spoke rather leisurely. “The choice of the class monitor will be your fate moving forward.”

This person was totally different from the other instructors in terms of both his aura and his face.

He was as handsome as those international celebrities.

And didn’t look like a person holding a gun and responsible for their military training.

After a brief silence, the people in the class started talking.

“Instructor, I think Bertha can do it.”

“Bertha is from a military family. Instructor, I think she can totally be a competent monitor.”

“…”

This bunch of people were all talking about Bertha in unity. Suddenly, another crisp voice rang in the field. “Instructor, I think Su Huiqing is more suited to be the monitor.”

This was Qu Yan’s voice. She just couldn’t take how Bertha actually looked at Qingqing in that way just now.

Of course, if she didn’t see that the instructor was Yu Shijin, she definitely wouldn’t dare to say it.

Also, upon hearing Yu Shijin’s words, she suddenly knew the importance of choosing this monitor. She felt that only by getting Su Huiqing to be the monitor could the teamwork of the class be maximized.

This was her faith towards Su Huiqing.

However, what Qu Yan didn’t expect was that her words incited everyone’s fury.

The other people looked at these three people—they weren’t locals of the International Association—and immediately replied, “Who’s Su Huiqing? We haven’t even heard of her…”

“Our Qingqing got in here as the first place in the exams!” Qu Yan just couldn’t take it when others criticized Su Huiqing.

She fumed instantly.

The others looked towards Qu Yan in disdain. “Pfft, first place? I remember there were a few people who almost got full marks and got fast-tracked to Class S right away. Your first place still has to do field training with us? You can brag all you want just to fight with Miss Bertha. How shameless!”

At this point, Bertha finally stood out and looked at the three of them with a gentle look on her face.

More accurately, she looked at Su Huiqing.

“The fact that you can get into Monster University means that your talent should be not bad—this should be very outstanding in your hometown already. However, classmate, in life, it is okay to be slightly arrogant, but never think too highly of yourself.”

Bertha paused and smiled. “The results that got first place in your hometown is not a big deal in our school. I know that you’re still young, just got into a top school like Monster University, and are a bit conceited. There are several people like you in the International Association—those people only disgust others and embarrass themselves.”

“On the account that we’re classmates, I’ll advise you to be more modest and don’t be too eager for instant success. This is the International Association, not your hometown. We care about the glory of the group and don’t need an ordinary person full of lies—people like you will only drag us down.”

Her words were appropriate and gentle.

Like the teachings of a teacher.

However, every word and phrase was mocking Su Huiqing’s ignorance.

“Damn!” Qu Yan’s face was cold and harsh.

Seeing the slightly sarcastic faces of the others, she suppressed her infinite anger.

How could she not be angry?

She was now slightly regretting even speaking up just now—who cared whether the people in this class die or live!

Amidst the chaos, Su Huiqing reached out and pressed on her cap.

Under the sun, those pairs were too black and bright.

She looked at Bertha and sneered. “Oh man, so my first place made Bertha not trust me—conceited? Eager for instant success?”

She didn’t really care about the position of the monitor.

Anyway, regardless, she had the confidence to lead Qu Yan and Qing Zi well.

However, Bertha’s words had indeed irked her.

However, Bertha didn’t know who exactly she provoked. She looked at Yu Shijin, thinking that this instructor was the person arranged by her, and wasn’t anxious at all.

Instead, she growled, “Instructor, I think there are issues with this classmate’s character. A person like her isn’t fit to lead the class. Hope you’ll redress the scales for us!”
