Chapter 792: Jian Group’s Crisis

The subordinate shook his head. “They didn’t say why. They just said that they would terminate their collaboration with the Jian Group unconditionally.”

Jian Changsheng took a deep breath. Because it happened too suddenly, he couldn’t process his thoughts.

Tianxuan Timber Company had been the Jian Group’s business partner for many years. This company was responsible for the timber materials for all projects in the Jian Group.

If they stopped the collaboration now, it meant that all the projects in the Jian Group would be forced to stop until they successfully negotiated with the other party or found another company to collaborate with.

However, with the scale of the Jian Group’s business, it was difficult to find a cooperative company that matched them well.

Before he could think about this question, another employee came to report.

“CEO, the higher-ups have ordered Baiyun Mountain Hot Spring to close for rectification for three months.”

Jian Changsheng’s expression instantly turned ugly. It was going to be the National Day holiday. Was the hot spring hotel going to stop operations at this juncture?

“What’s the reason?” Jian Changsheng asked.

Since it was an order from the higher-ups, they had to give an explanation.

The subordinate immediately said, “There’s a fire hazard.”

A fire hazard? Could it be the fire in the villa half a year ago? However, he had already used his connections to settle things, so the resort was not affected at all.

Why did they suddenly tell him to close the business for three months?

Misfortune did not come alone or in pairs.

Then, someone came up to report, “CEO, Quanling Crane called the company to withdraw their partnership with us from the South City demolition project.”

Jian Changsheng: “…”

What a joke. This was a government project. Many companies were fighting to take part.

On account that the Jian Group had worked with them for many years, they personally recommended this company to the government. In the end, they announced their withdrawal just as they were about to start work?

What was going on?

The Jian Group’s phone was still ringing non-stop. Big and small things kept happening. The entire company immediately fell into anxiety.

Jian Changsheng immediately called his former partners to ask about it, but they seemed to have disappeared from the world. He couldn’t find a single one.

They were obviously avoiding him.

They were afraid!

Were they afraid of him or others?

Due to all these factors, the Jian Group’s shares had already fallen drastically before two in the afternoon. In just half a day, the company’s market value had dropped by over a hundred million yuan, and it had suffered heavy losses!

“Outrageous!”

At the Jian residence, Old Master Jian roared and slapped the Express News newspaper on the table.

The news of the Jian Group, a celebrity corporation in Baiyun City, having all its shares fall, appeared on the headlines today.

As for the specific reason, the Express News reported that they were still investigating further.

Old Master Jian was so angry that his entire body was trembling. This was the biggest crisis the Jian Group had faced since Jian Changsheng took over the company.

“What’s wrong? Why are you so angry?”

Old Madam Jian rushed over when she heard the commotion. Seeing the old man’s red face, she quickly went forward to support him. “What’s wrong?”

The old man covered his chest with one hand, and his heart ached. He kept muttering, “Outrageous. How outrageous.”

The old lady helped the old man back to the sofa and picked up the newspaper on the table to read. She was stunned.

“What’s going on? Why is this happening?”

The old man raised his trembling hand and pointed at the landline at home. “You. Call Secretary Wang. Hurry!”
