Chapter 745: Don’t Worry, Leave It to Me!

“Teacher, we should list an ingredient chain first,” Jian Ai said.

When everyone heard this, they looked up at her. After all, Jian Ai was usually a top student, so everyone would listen to her.

Sun Dasheng couldn’t help but ask, “An ingredient chain?”

Jian Ai nodded and explained, “It’s that we have to split the ingredients we want into levels. Later, when we run to the booth, we won’t waste time choosing and will return with the most prioritised ingredients.”

With Jian Ai’s explanation, everyone instantly understood.

To put it bluntly, they did not want to waste time in front of the booth wondering what to take. Instead, they would quickly decide based on the priority of the ingredient chain.

In the end, the few of them discussed. The priority list for the ingredients was mutton, seafood, pork, vegetables, beef, chicken, and noodles.

Mutton was the first ingredient needed for barbecue. Without mutton, they could not consider it a barbecue.

The reason pork was ranked ahead of beef was because some students might not eat mutton. Therefore, with mutton, they should consider the next ingredient for students who only ate pork.

The reason for arranging the vegetables in the middle was that they could not put all the meat at the front of the ingredient chain. Otherwise, if they took all the meat, it would be too greasy.

After deciding on the ingredients, they discussed the order of the runners.

Although Yan Tian and Yang Guangfei were very good at sports, Jian Ai knew that Si Yue was the fastest among them. The first batch of ingredients was already on the display booth. In the middle of the display booth at the top was a basin full of mutton.

Therefore, Jian Ai recommended Si Yue to do the first run. For the sake of mutton, he had to go for it!

The second runner was Li Yunmei. The mission assigned to her was to bring back a basin of vegetables. After all, she was a girl. It would be too difficult for her to bring back a basin of meat.

Li Yunmei nodded. It was rare for her to listen to Jian Ai’s instructions.

The third runner was still a girl, which meant Jian Ai herself.

“Then wouldn’t there be vegetables for both trips?” Yan Tian objected.

With two girls consecutively, there would be two basins of vegetables. Although it was not bad, he felt they would suffer a loss.

The teacher also nodded and felt that Yan Tian’s words made sense.

Jian Ai smiled. “Don’t worry, leave it to me!”

Jian Ai’s first goal was the greasyback shrimp. If that was not available, she could choose other seafood. If not, she could bring back a basin of marbled pork.

After all, she did not practice mental cultivation techniques and did not go to the martial arts school for nothing. She could not possibly bring back a basin of mushrooms.

The remaining people did not specify the ingredients. When the time came, they would look at the ingredients displayed on the display booth and decide on their own by comparing with the ingredients that their former teammates had snatched back. Because the ingredients displayed on the display booth were limited, a staff member would quickly fill the empty spaces after each round. As for what ingredients would fill the empty spaces, no one knew.

The sun was suspended in the sky above the lake in the west. People from the various classes were already gathered at the edge of the lake, and those taking part in the relay race were also lined up at the starting point.

All ten classes would participate at the same time. There was a staff member wearing a whistle at the starting point. He should be the referee for this competition.

“Go, Class One!”

“Go, Class Three!”

“Go, Class Eight!”

…

Students from various classes started to cheer for their classmates. Everyone had excited expressions on their faces.

The first batch of students had already made preparations in front of the starting line. The beach was not as soft and dense as other beaches. It should not affect their running speed.
