Chapter 743: Barbecue Relay

Not long after, the students of Class One were brought to a huge flat open space by Liyang Lake.

The boundless, lustrous green lake flickered with waves of light that connected with the sky. The sky above the lake seemed to reflect a lustrous green color, and a group of birds formed a circle.

The staff’s commentary sounded at the right time. “Students, this is Liyang Lake, one of the six major freshwater lakes in our country. Chengyang River is the primary source of water for Liyang Lake. The lake area is ninety-three kilometers long and has a maximum width of forty-one kilometers. The highest water level is eleven meters deep. It is also known as the first lake in the north.”

Just now, she had only looked out of the window of the room. Now that she was close to the lake, her field of vision was even wider. It was not like the surging waves of the sea. Liyang Lake was peaceful, like a sleeping girl in a green muslin under the sky.

The scenic area was completely protected. There was no trash in the large lake, and the lake was clean and clear. Just looking at it made one feel relaxed and happy.

“This place is so good,” Jian Ai said for the second time today.

Baiyun City’s economy was developed, but there was no such natural and pure scenery. Even the scenery of the hot spring hotel where Lin Yi celebrated his birthday could not compare to this place.

It was indeed a level 5A scenic area in China.

The other classes arrived one after another. Everyone enjoyed the scenery of Liyang Lake for a while and saw a staff member driving a sightseeing bus over.

Then, under everyone’s puzzled gaze, the staff built a staircase-like display booth in the empty space of the beach. Bottles of cured meat, seafood, vegetables, and so on were laid out one after another. It was obvious that they were ingredients for barbecue.

Seeing this, the crowd immediately became agitated.

“Damn, a barbecue?”

“This is a good group activity. I like it.”

“I haven’t barbecued in the wild before.”

“The school is too good to us…”

All the students were obviously excited, and someone had also noticed that grills had already been set up on the left and right sides of the lake. There were exactly ten of them, and it was obvious that each class had a grill.

However, they were too far away to see the length of the grill.

“Come, students. Everyone, gather around the teacher,” Sun Dasheng called out to the students in Class One.

Seeing this, everyone quickly surrounded him.

“Teacher, is there a barbecue for the group activity in the afternoon?”

Someone couldn’t help but ask.

Sun Dasheng smiled and nodded. “As you can see, the ingredients are already on the display booth. However, the school organized an interesting game, so these ingredients are not for you to take as you wish.”

When they heard about a game, everyone instantly perked up. Just the thought of it was exciting.

Someone asked, “What game, Teacher?”

The other classes were also surrounding their form teacher. It was obvious that the teachers already knew the game content in advance and were explaining it to their students.

Sun Dasheng didn’t keep them in suspense. He immediately said, “The first activity is a relay. Everyone, look at the small red flag in front. That’s the starting point. Students who are participating in the relay have to run from the starting point to the booth. Then, they will pick up a set of ingredients from the booth and turn back the way they came. The total distance is one hundred meters. After the first student returns, the second student will set off. The ingredients you snatch will be the ingredients you can use for barbecue tonight.”

“However, there are rules in the game. There must be three boys, two girls, and a teacher – a total of six people!”
