Rebirth of the Best Businesswoman at School Chapter 425 – Thief

Chapter 425: Thief

Although Baiyun City was located at the northern end of China, the weather was already hot in mid-June.

Jian Yu rode his motorcycle and left Zhonglou District’s driving school. He headed towards Haicheng District.

Jian Ai helped him decide to learn how to drive. Jian Yu thought for a moment and felt that he should learn it. He found a driving school near Zhonglou District and registered.

The warm wind blew against his face. Jian Yu rode all the way and finally stopped outside a very famous cake shop in Baiyun City.

This shop was called Champs-Élysées. It was very famous in Baiyun City, so they had to order the cake two days in advance. The day after tomorrow was his sister’s birthday.

The door of the shop was mainly milky white and matched with a few orange and yellow decorations. It was very fresh, but not flashy.

Although it was Wednesday afternoon, there was still a long queue in front of the counter. Fortunately, these people were here to buy bread and desserts. Birthday cakes were chosen and reserved at another counter.

As soon as Jian Yu entered the shop, a Hummer SUV stopped by the road.

“Miss, this is the best cake shop in Baiyun City.”

The person driving was the Ji family’s driver. He was in his early thirties and was strong. He was a retired special forces soldier.

Ji Haoxue sat in the front passenger seat and looked out the window at the cake shop. Then she nodded. “It looks okay.”

“Uncle Tao, wait for me. I’ll go in and look,” Ji Haoxue said as she opened the door and jumped out of the car.

Ji Haoxue was still wearing a dirty braid with colorful hair ties. She was wearing a short motorcycle jacket and tight leather pants with riveting leather boots. She was exceptionally striking.

Thus, as soon as she appeared, she successfully attracted everyone’s attention.

Even in a developed city like Baiyun City, people who dressed like Ji Haoxue were very rare. After all, it was only 2002.

Jian Yu accidentally saw Ji Haoxue and was stunned for a moment. Her exaggerated appearance attracted him first. Although Ji Haoxue did not have thick makeup on, her outfit alone was enough to make people stare at her for a long time.

Although Ji Haoxue was tall, she looked about the same age as Jian Ai.

A few seconds later, Jian Yu looked away and shook his head helplessly. Young girls nowadays were too ostentatious.

He could not appreciate it.

Ji Haoxue looked around the door and saw many people queuing up in front of the counter. She walked over.

At this moment, the phone in her pocket suddenly rang. Ji Haoxue took it out and saw that it was her brother.

“Brother!” Ji Haoxue called out when she picked it up.

However, this action had already attracted the attention of some people. Two middle-aged men had already arrived behind Ji Haoxue and were pretending to queue.

Ji Haoxue was carrying a sling bag that fell to her lower back. At this moment, Ji Haoxue was on the phone with Ji Haoyu and did not notice the abnormality behind her.

One of the two men covered most of their vision, while the other took out a sharp dagger and cut a hole in the bottom of Ji Haoxue’s sling bag.

These two people were obviously experienced offenders with skilled techniques. Not only did no one notice their entire movements, but even Ji Haoxue felt nothing.

The wallet fell from the crack, and the man quickly caught it. Just as he was about to put it into his pocket, someone suddenly grabbed his wrist.

He looked up and met Jian Yu’s cold eyes.
