The more he thought about it, the more upset and angry he became.

No matter what, he could not dismiss everyone in the company. Wasn’t this a slap to his face?

Old Master Jian picked up his phone and dialed Jian Changsheng’s number. However, Jian Changsheng didn’t pick up his call.

Old Master Jian had a fiery temper, and an unknown fire burning in his heart. “Has he grown capable? How dare he not answer my call!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Old Master Jian stood up from the sofa and walked out of the door.

At this moment, the old lady came down from upstairs. Seeing this, she blurted, “Oh, what’s wrong with you again?!”

“I’m going to the company. I want to ask Changsheng what he wants to do. Does he still care about me?!” The old man rushed to the door to change his shoes.

How could the old lady let him go? She immediately rushed up and stopped the old man. “Can’t you talk things out?”

In fact, the old lady had already guessed what had happened. After all, she had told her son everything. However, she could only pretend not to know. Otherwise, she would be implicated.

“You don’t have to worry about this. It’s between me and Changsheng,” the old man looked at the old lady and said.

“But if you go to the company to cause a scene like this, what will the employees in the company think of you and Changsheng? Won’t you be a joke?!” The old lady tried her best to persuade him. “Don’t blow things up. It won’t be easy to clean up the mess. Why are you getting more confused when you’re old?”

The old man’s expression froze, as if he had heard the old lady’s words. However, when he thought about how Jian Changsheng didn’t even answer his call, he heaved a sigh of relief. “If he doesn’t answer my call, where else can I find him if not the company?”

“Go to his house to find him. I’ll accompany you to Changsheng’s tonight. If there’s anything, the two of you can discuss it behind closed doors. Running to the company won’t solve the problem. It’ll only make you both angrier,” the old lady said.

After all, Old Master Jian had established the Jian Group single-handedly. He did not want to see any negative news about the Jian Group. If he went to the company to cause a scene with Changsheng and word got out, the entire Baiyun City real estate world would laugh at him and his son.

At this moment, Old Master Jian had already calmed down a little. In the end, he sighed and nodded. “You’re right.”

Seeing that he had relented, the old lady immediately heaved a sigh of relief. “It’s good that you know. You’re usually such a smart person, but when you lose your temper, you don’t recognize anyone.”

As she spoke, the old lady pulled the old man back to the sofa and comforted him. “Take advantage of the day to calm down and think about how to explain this to Changsheng and how to resolve it. Do you think he can accept it just because you say that you’re doing this for his and the Jian Group’s good? He’s your son. Don’t you know him?”

The old man was silent. The old lady could only shake her head helplessly and say nothing else. She turned around and went into the kitchen.

In the CEO’s office of the Jian Group, Jian Changsheng stood in front of the glass window with his hands in his pockets. He had many things on his mind, and his expression was abnormally heavy.

He did all of this because he was a person who could not tolerate sand in his eyes. He knew better than anyone what he should do and what he could do.

It was not because the target was his daughter’s company. If it were another company, he would not allow it as well.
