“On what basis? This is my place!”

Hearing his words, she raised her head to look at the man standing diagonally behind her.

“I’m the owner of this place! There’s no such thing as making a guest cook while the owner sits around!”

She argued with him. Even though she missed her dear boyfriend’s cooking, as his girlfriend, she could not possibly make him cook for her each time, right?

“En?” He raised a brow. “Am I a guest to you?”

“Of…” Before she could finish, she saw him look at her warningly, and she shut her mouth.

“Fine. You’re not my guest.”

“En.” He nodded slightly, saying simply, “I’ll cook, then.”

“…” Her mouth twitched a little when she heard this.

Before she could say anything, she saw his dashing face get bigger and bigger.

A cool sensation on her red lips followed immediately after.

It was a quick kiss on her lips.

“Good girl.”

She left the kitchen in a daze, as though she were under his spell.

The tiny kitchen was then taken over by the man.

After he put on the apron, he rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt, showing off his forearms.

Shwaaa!

He turned on the tap, skillfully slaughtered the fish, and began preparing for dinner.

Logic returned to her as she stood at the kitchen doorway and smiled at the sight of the man busying himself in the kitchen.

The smile on her face was that of contentment and bliss.

She subconsciously took out the phone she had put in her pocket earlier.

Aiming its lenses at the man, she snapped a few photos of his back as he worked in the kitchen.

As time passed, the delicious smell of food wafted from the kitchen.

“Okay, it’s time for dinner.”

When he turned around, before he could remove the apron, he saw her lung at him from the doorway.

“My boyfriend is so great!”

She muttered to the man with her face full of smiles as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

“…” He was a little stunned by the sudden hug, but the corners of his lips upturned still.

“Okay, let go. It’s time to eat.”

“I’m not letting go. I’ll help you get out of the apron.” She raised her head from his embrace and smiled at him.

With her arms wrapped around his waist, her fingers slowly untied the apron.

He dipped his head and looked at the woman in his embrace. When he felt the fingers untying the apron, he shifted his gaze away, not daring to look into her eyes.

This was the first time he had avoided making eye-contact with someone on top of his wildly beating heart.

“Don’t mess around; it’s time for dinner,” he said softly, his eyes on the wall.

“I’m not messing around.” She was amused at how shy he was being.

After hugging a little longer in the kitchen, she finally let him off the hook and helped him bring the dishes to the dining area.

Once the dishes were placed on the table, and she spotted him moving to serve her a bowl of fish soup, she stopped him.

“Stop!”

The man looked at her and raised his brow a little, indicating for her to speak.

In the end, he saw her take out her phone, smilingly saying, “Let me take a picture first.”

“…” The corners of his mouth twitched a little when he heard that.

This woman, who was opening her camera to take pictures of the food, cared not for his thoughts at all. Finding the right angle, she focused on taking photos of the food.

“Okay! We can eat now!”

She kept her phone, settled in her seat before, and placed a soup bowl before him.

“Here. I want to drink soup.”

“What am I going to do with you?” He shook his head wryly when she acted coy.

Although he sounded as if he were criticizing her, his eyes were tender.

“Ah! It feels nice to have a boyfriend,” she gushed, proceeding to sip the milky white fish soup. “When the boyfriend knows how to cook, it’s even better!”

Hearing her praise, the man did not show a reaction and just glanced at her.

From how he looked, no one would suspect that the great CEO Ji was actually over the moon with her praise.

If this great CEO had a tail, it would probably be wagging vigorously right now!

After dinner, Pei Ge took the initiative to do the dishes.

“Don’t you dare fight with me over it this time! We agreed! Whoever cooks is exempted from washing!” She glared at a certain someone who intended to do the dishes as well.

“En, you do the dishes.” He retracted his hands and looked plainly at her.

When he agreed readily, she muttered to herself, I really didn’t expect him to behave so much different from before we got together.

Before they entered a relationship, this great CEO had a terrible personality and loved bossing her around.

Now that they were together, the high and mighty great CEO had basically become an all-round, perfect boyfriend!

Not only was he willing to spend on, put an effort to, and be romantic with his girlfriend, he was, most of all, rich and dashing, too.

Cough, cough, cough! Of course, the most important thing was that he cooked well!

He was practically better than a prince charming from a fairy tale.

“When are you going back?”

She asked the man as she washed the dishes before the basin.

“I’m not sure yet,” he replied. The man stood next to her and helped her put the dishes away.

“Not sure? Aren’t you going back tonight?”

She looked at him in surprise.

Who knew that his next words would stun her even more, though?

“I’m not going back; let’s cohabit for a few days.”

Bang! Her hand loosened and a bowl fell back into the sink.

C-Co-Cohabit?!
