Provocative Fiery Wife: My Superior is a Affectionate Spitfire Chapter 1175 – I heard that you have two children.

Chapter 1175: I heard that you have two children.

“I only want to tell you that your son didn’t fall from the windowsill by accident but because… his biological mother pushed him down.”

Mentioning the boy’s biological mother made her frown.

She really did not get why Qiao Jingyun would do something like that to her child!

Although the place where that boy had fallen from was not very high and there was even a grass patch, there were still a few rocks here and there.

If not for her coincidentally being on that spot the other day, a child falling from such a height would hit the rocks and…

The more she thought about it, the deeper her frown got.

“…Are you saying that it’s that woman’s doing?”

Ji Ziming did not expect her to broach such a topic, but once he heard her say that, he frowned just the same, his expression solemn.

“That’s right. Although I don’t understand why she would do that to her flesh and blood, I advise that you do something so that the boy won’t be exposed in such a dangerous situation again.”

Seeing the man paying attention to this issue, she nodded her head and spoke seriously.

“If not for me being there the other day, your son might have had a heavy fall! How dangerous is that?”

She pursed her lips at him as worry filled her face.

She was acting as if the boy’s biological mother were her and not Qiao Jingyun.

Seeing how anxious she was over his son, the man narrowed his eyes.

He was thinking how weird it was that a stranger was so concerned about his son, while the boy’s biological mother was willing to risk him just for her schemes…

“…What if she’s trying to kill Ji Chi on purpose?” asked the man, clenching his fists.

“Huh?! That, how could it be? Isn’t she the boy’s mother?!” she exclaimed immediately.

Although, in her opinion, that woman was not doing a proper job as a mother and was even shamelessly making use of her child, she had never thought the woman would purposely go after her son’s life!

“How’s this… possible?”

The man snorted derisively as a cold glint flashed past his eyes.

He initially did not think this deeply and just surmised that Qiao Jingyun made use of the boy to prevent him from getting engaged to Qu Jingwan, but since this woman was telling him that that schemer had pushed his son… then everything made sense now.

This was why the child was so terrified and unwilling to recognize that schemer as his mother.

What an evil woman…

“Why did she do such a thing?!”

Pei Ge could not believe what he was saying. After all, she could not imagine a mother wanting to kill her child. This was simply illogical!

“…”

Hearing the woman voice her doubts, he arched a brow but did not answer her question. Instead, he asked something totally unrelated.

“I heard from Mu Heng that Miss Regina has two children?”

The moment he asked about her children, the woman’s heart was in her mouth.

However, she quickly relaxed when she realized that this man could never find out her and the children’s identity.

“That’s right. My kids are about the same age as your child.” Her smile immediately froze after saying this.

No! She did not mention anything about her children’s age yesterday! She never told Mu Heng the age of the children!

It was because she was very careful and afraid that they would discover what had happened back then from that. Hence, she omitted that detail.

How then did this man’s son find out about it?!

Also…

The same age…

The man’s brows twitched upon hearing her reply as though he had thought of something.

However, seeing the weird expression on her face immediately after saying that, confusion surfaced in his eyes.

“What is it? Is anything wrong?”

“…N-Nothing. Mr. Ji, it’s time I leave; I still have work at the office. I shouldn’t stay any longer.” Returning to her senses, she quickly told the man contemplatively.

The man did not hold her back and merely offered calmly, “I’ll see you off, then.”

“Sure.”

She nodded and they walked back to the living room of the villa.

After bidding the old Ji couple a polite goodbye, she turned to leave.

However, before she could set foot outside, the corner of her shirt was gripped by a child.

Turning to look, she saw the boy’s beautiful eyes looking at her piteously.

“Mommy, don’t go…” said the child in a pitiful way.

“Baby, don’t do this; your auntie has to go to work just like your father.”

When she saw her grandson clinging onto Pei Ge, Madam Ji carefully chided him.

“Then… Mommy, you must visit me after work…”

The child blinked his eyes and pouted his pink, tender lips at her.

His reluctance to let her leave made Pei Ge sigh slightly, not knowing what to say to him in response.

“Baby, if auntie has the chance, I’ll come visit you again.”

She gently patted his head. Although she knew that he was not as obedient, and innocent, as she had originally thought, she still could not bear to reject him when she saw his fair, tender face.

“Don’t want! I want mommy to accompany me every day—”

Ji Ziming cut him off before he could finish.

“Ji Chi, stop fooling around!”

He bellowed at the child with a chilly look.
