Provocative Fiery Wife: My Superior is a Affectionate Spitfire Chapter 1151 – I am not a woman whom you can trifle with.

Chapter 1151: I am not a woman whom you can trifle with.

The commotion triggered by her stunning entrance was in no way as explosive as the upcoming chaos.

However, this bomb had not exploded yet.

Pei Ge arriving at this business gathering late was still within expectations; what was truly unexpected was for the host himself to arrive late as well.

Still, having been known for doing whatever he pleased, despite arriving late, everyone did not comment on it. They were neither bothered by nor upset about it.

All the guests were holding their glasses elegantly and discussing the latest news as they socialized with others from the same circle.

She intended to socialize with more people to grow her network, which would be useful in her revenge plan, but the moment she saw those people’s disdain or perverted stares, she decided not to stay here for a second longer.

“Regina, are you hungry? I’ll go get you some desserts!”

Seeing her remaining expressionless, Mu Heng, who was good at understanding women, really had no clue on what she was thinking about.

Nevertheless, remembering that women loved desserts, and Ji Ziming’s pastry chef was the best at making them, he volunteered to get her some.

The way he acted was as though he were an all-round, perfect boyfriend and nothing like the playboy young master that he was!

Seeing him acting like this, Pei Ge frowned further.

She really disliked the way he was treating her because it was… too awkward.

Sighing lightly, she lifted her head and looked in the direction of the banquet.

She scanned the place and heaved a sigh of relief when she did not see any familiar faces. However, she also felt a tinge of regret.

Although she did not have the chance to bid goodbye to those friends who really cared for her because of the matter, she still missed them.

Qin Qitong, Lily, Bi Zheng, Pan Xinlei… are they all doing fine? She sniffed. They must hate me for leaving without saying anything…

Just as she was lamenting over not reuniting with her friends from back then, a deep male voice rang in her ears.

“Hello. Do you mind if I sit here?”

She frowned as she lifted her head at this voice.

A tall and lean man appeared before her.

This man was not dashing and he even had single eyelids; the way he dressed himself was a copy of Korean male idols.

Therefore, he looked pleasing to the eye with him easily passing off as a typical male protagonist in K-dramas.

This type of men was usually popular with the ladies for they possessed just the right amount of charm that would not intimidate girls.

When women met such men, they would usually let their guards down.

She was not the same, though.

“I mind,” she dismissively said with a cold look.

“Huh?”

This was likely the man’s first time being rejected, so he was stunned.

“Why not?”

He stared at her, appearing especially pure and innocent, but this woman, who had been through so many things overseas, could not be fooled by it.

Therefore, his actions were disgusting in her eyes.

As much as he pretended to be a gentleman, she could easily tell that he was a jerk.

“There’s no reason why; no means no.”

She glanced at him impatiently with a face full of unhappiness.

Everyone who could attend this banquet was well-respected in the capital.

The man’s affectionate smile froze immediately following her response.

“Hmph! Who do you think you are? You’re just a vixen. Don’t reject when I’m—”

Before the man could finish his sentence, he was splashed in the face with red wine by her.

“So what are you?”

She stood up from her seat and looked at the man before her coldly with a face full of disdain and arrogance.

How long had it been since she last experienced such a thing?

Perhaps, the last time it happened was when she caused a man who took liberties of her to go bankrupt. Ever since then, nobody else dared to be disrespectful toward her.

“You! You b*tch actually dared to—”

Before he could finish his words, this man was again splashed by red wine.

This time around, it was Mu Heng.

“This gentleman here, I advise you to keep your mouth clean. I’m not a woman whom you can trifle with.”

She scoffed and elegantly put down her glass as she looked up proudly.

Given how snobbish she was, anyone with more intelligence would reckon that she had a sort of backing.

Unfortunately, this man had been driven crazy by her at this point and could not be bothered to think of such things.

Hence, he did not heed her advice and started insulting her, instead.

Soon, the commotion attracted the attention of many others.

Her beauty was eye-catching to begin with, and since this playboy was her partner, it caused many to speculate about them.

Even if one was not a gossiper, their interest would still be piqued by this scene of her getting insulted by a man.

Seeing the man insulting her nonstop, she was infuriated and kicked him, causing the latter to fall to the ground.

“Ahhh!”

The man did not expect her to kick him, and it hurt badly.

“Bro!”

Seeing that man on the ground, she was about to turn around and leave but was stopped by a woman before she could react.

“You! This woman here, why are you so evil? What has my brother done to you to incur your wrath? Why are you doing this to him?! You’re such a vicious woman!”

Having heard that, Pei Ge frowned further and looked at the woman stopping her.

Looking at the woman’s small, narrow eyes, she immediately understood her relationship with this man.

The woman who was restricting her from leaving was none other than Qu Jingwan’s best friend, Mu Jiaqian.
