“He’s in critical condition. The ambulance took him to Peijing Hospital just a few minutes ago.”

After learning what might’ve happened to Ma Haodong, Xiao Yuqian ran back to the cab and told the driver to drive her to the hospital.

The moment she got to the hospital, she ran straight to the emergency department.

She asked the nurse in charge if there was a patient named Ma Haodong in the emergency room. To her surprise, the nurse checked and shook her head.
