Pet Beasts of the World: Hundred-Fold Multiplier System Chapter 131

It was before going to bed at night that Fang Yuan remembered the level-up pill that he obtained from Zhu Xu.

After being enhanced to a diamond low-grade level-up pill by the system, Fang Yuan was thinking about which pet beast to evolve into a diamond pet beast.

After thinking for a long time, Fang Yuan finally chose the gale hound.

It was because in Fang Yuan’s understanding, the evolution by using the level-up pill was not perfect. Only diamond pet beasts that evolved from materials had the characteristics of diamond pet beasts. The three-tailed spirit fox, the shadow wolf, the armored bear, and the steel gryphon all evolved from materials step by step. They maintained the perfect value of their attributes and were in the lead among the pet beasts of the same level.

As for the gale hound, it didn’t matter. It was originally snatched from a profiteer, although it had helped Fang Yuan a lot… besides, the gale hound was also very interested in improving its combat strength.

After taking the level-up pill, the gale hound didn’t turn into anything else as expected.

“Eh? Is it ineffective?” Fang Yuan looked at the gale hound in confusion and opened its information panel.

[ Scientific name: Gale Hound. ]

[ Grade: Platinum peak. ]

[ Level: Level 10 high. ]

…

Alright, Fang Yuan finally understood. It turned out that this level-up pill could only upgrade one level… It could not directly upgrade a platinum high-grade pet beast to diamond low-grade. It would be better to choose the last option directly, which could upgrade Xiao Jin to platinum peak.

Forget it, since it was a snatched material, he could just snatch it from Zhu Xu again the next time he received the material. Wasn’t the academy allowing a reasonable “friendly exchange”?

If Zhu Xu knew that not only was Fang Yuan not afraid after today’s incident, but he was planning to snatch his material next month, who knew what expression he would have.

The next day, when Fang Yuan woke up, he found a note at the door.

“Classroom on the fifth floor of the Academy’s main tower:

‘Course on Pet Advanced Domination Theory’.”

Xin Yu had cultivation so she had left earlier. She only told Fang Yuan the location of the class and the content of the class.

He did not know what the school was thinking. Obviously the arcane realm was so big, yet they insisted on dividing their dormitory areas far away from the school. This had caused Fang Yuan to wake up half an hour earlier, otherwise, he would be late even if he flew there by gryphon.

But the school probably wanted to train their flying speed. After thinking about it this way, Fang Yuan felt a little better.

With bread in his mouth, he rode on Xiao Jin and flew towards the teaching building.

“Xiao Jin, do you know how to use the blink skill, or the acceleration skill?” Fang Yuan leaned on Xiao Jin’s body and asked. He also wanted to experience the feeling of being blessed by the pet skill. How many men wouldn’t like the joy of flying through the wind?

Xiao Jin raised its head and quacked twice, meaning, “I don’t know anything. I’m just a cute little gryphon.”

“Alright.” Fang Yuan lowered his head. He did not know how to train a skill right now anyway. Even if Xiao Jin wanted to use a skill, he would not be able to enjoy the bonus.

He did not know when he would begin to practice actual combat. As for the theoretical course, Fang Yuan really was not interested.

In the domination theory class, Fang Yuan saw two people whom can be considered he was familiar with. Two defeated opponents. One was the freshman Xu Fei, and the other the sophomore Zhu Xu. This made Fang Yuan very proud. One was from the Heaven group, and the other was from the Earth group. The only exception was the Xuan Group.

Fang Yuan did not understand the significance of this type of theoretical course. It just made him feel sleepy.

In the end, he actually fell asleep. It was not until the end of the class that he was woken up by the female freshman of Xuan group. She smiled and pointed at the corner of Fang Yuan’s mouth, because there was still saliva flowing.

“Yesterday’s fight consumed too much mental energy.” Fang Yuan now felt that he had to raise his mental energy. Yesterday, he had only summoned three pet beasts and fought two battles, and he was already very sleepy at night. However, he did not know what methods he could use to increase his mental power.

Fang Yuan checked his attributes: [ Mental power: 6,750 points ]

As there was no comparison, he did not know if this mental power was high or low. The next time his senior came, he would test her mental power.

Just as he was thinking about it, Huang Ying appeared.

Ding! Huang Ying’s mental power displayed 1.3 million. He was not on the same level as Fang Yuan at all.

“What are you doing?” Huang Ying saw Fang Yuan holding his watch and asked curiously.

“I want to see your mental power, Teacher.” Fang Yuan did not hide it and told him about his confusion.

“Hahahaha, I also hate theoretical classes, but there are many times you can’t do without theory,” Huang Ying said with a smile. “As for mental power, you don’t have to worry. From today onwards, I will guide you to cultivate. Put on this clothes first.”

Huang Ying threw a set of yellow academy uniform to Fang Yuan. The moment Fang Yuan took the clothes, he actually felt the system’s call.

[ Ding! Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow) detected. Grade: Diamond high-grade. ]

[ Do you want to proceed with 100 times increase? ]

[ Host can choose from the following increase methods. ]

[ First, give up the 100 times increase, and obtain the diamond low-grade Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow). ]

[ Second, proceed with the 100 times increase in quality, and obtain the diamond intermediate-grade Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow). ]

[ Third, proceed with the 100 times increase in attribute, obtain the diamond low-grade Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow), and double the attribute value. ]

Fang Yuan was amused by the option of 100 times increase in attributes and double the attribute value. He could not make a choice, so he made a bold attempt.

“System, can you show me their attributes?”

Diamond low-grade Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow)

Increase in trainer’s mental power: 1,000

Increase in PET’s all attributes: 50%

Diamond intermediate-grade Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow)

Increase in trainer’s mental power: 2,000

Increase in PET’s all attributes: 70%

Diamond low-grade Heavenly Secret Pavilion academy uniform (yellow) (increase)

Increase in trainer’s mental power: 2,000

Increase PET’s all attributes: 100%

The system could actually provide a comparison of the results. Fang Yuan had not known about it before, and he had been relying on his impression to obtain it.

Now, the results were clear at a glance. Fang Yuan had chosen the 100 times increase in effect.

It was because no matter how one looked at it, the effect was stronger than the peak, and his attribute points were 30% higher.

After putting on the clothes, Fang Yuan clearly felt that his mental power had increased. This was because when his mental power increased, the connection between him and the pet beast became closer. Moreover, the pet beast also fed on his mental power. The higher his mental power was, the faster the pet beast would grow.

This was Fang Yuan’s own understanding.

“Teacher, is this clothes a trainer’s equipment?” Fang Yuan asked.

“Yes, and this is the trainer’s equipment that will grow. You can still use it when you graduate.”
