Everybody was excited when Lin Feng came back, but Lin Feng told them to wait. He left quickly for the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points’ residence. He didn’t give anyone a chance to talk to him.

Zhuang Ling Yun didn’t follow him, staying in the central part of Man Yu. Song Chou Jiu walked to Ling Yun and asked gravely, “What’s wrong with your adopted father?”

“I can’t tell you. He told me I couldn’t tell you, so you ask him when he comes back,” replied Zhuang Ling Yun. He wanted to tell everyone about the ancient overlords, but Lin Feng had told him not to tell anyone. He had to keep his promise.

Zhuang Ling Yun went to his own palace. When he arrived in front of the great palace, he put his Evolution Hall down next to it. Suddenly, it seemed the palace had become twice as large.

Song Chou Jiu was surprised by the move. He was the manager of the Region of the Eight Corners.

“Everybody, go back to your own palaces. The Leader will come back soon,” said Song Chou Jiu, bowing hand over fist in front of all of those strong cultivators, including Zhan Han, Zhan Gan, Li Ju, Chun Qiu, and the others.

Everybody left. They had no choice but to go back and wait for their Leader to come back. There was a new influential group not far from the Region of the Eight Corners; they were mysterious and kept provoking them, so many people in the Region of the Eight Corners felt pressured.

Lin Feng quickly arrived at the foot of the mountain where the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points lived. The Ancestor of the Tower and the old man were with him. They looked at the lofty mountains and emerald forests, then glanced at each other and nodded approvingly.

“As expected, he knows how to enjoy life,” said the old man, stroking his beard and laughing softly. He wished he could live in such an environment, but he hadn’t had the opportunity yet.

“Please wait here. I’ll go and call the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points,” Lin Feng said respectfully, before flashing away.

When he arrived at the top of the mountain, he saw Lin Zu. He was outside on his knees, looking pale.

“What’s wrong, Little Zu?” Lin Feng asked curiously. The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points had punished Lin Zu? When the child saw his father, he lowered his head. He didn’t dare speak.

“That little boy didn’t finish his mission, so I punished him. He’s grounded for a day.”

Creak…

The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points opened the door of the thatched hut and came out. He looked at Lin Feng calmly.

Lin Feng nodded. Even though he felt sad for his child, Lin Zu was punished because he had done something wrong, which was absolutely normal. Lin Feng could see that Lin Zu was willing to submit to the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points. The old man punished him, and Lin Zu obeyed!

“Master, I brought two people,” Lin Feng said in a low voice.

The expression of the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points slightly changed. He smiled curiously, “You want me to meet some people?”

The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points didn’t know who Lin Feng had brought. He knew everybody in the Region of the Eight Corners already, and Lin Feng didn’t need to introduce him to people who were from outside of the Region of the Eight Corners.

When Lin Feng saw the old man looked curious, he shouted, “A free and unrestrained ancestor. An independent cultivator!”

When Lin Feng said that, the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points was astonished at first and then looked overjoyed. He was so excited he grabbed Lin Feng’s sleeve and shook him, “You, you, you found my teacher?!”

“Hehe, what’s wrong, little boy? You’re surprised that Lin Feng knows me?”

The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points wasn’t even done talking when the old man and the Ancestor of the Tower appeared. The old man was standing at the front, the Ancestor of the Tower behind him.

When Lin Zu saw all these strong cultivators, he was dumbstruck. Where did his father find such strong cultivators?

The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points was shaken. When he saw the old man, he looked moved, words didn’t come out anymore. He looked much older all of a sudden, more wrinkles appearing on his face. In the end, he knelt down in front of the old man and said, “Teacher! I am not worthy of being your disciple! I failed to save you!”

Luckily, there weren’t many people around. If other people had seen the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points kneel down in front of someone else like that, they would have been dumbstruck.

Lin Feng was just happy that they could meet again.

“Master Ancestor of the Tower, let’s go,” Lin Feng said to the Ancestor of the Tower. The latter knew how to behave, so he turned around and got ready to leave, giving the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points and the old man space and time to talk about the past. He saw Lin Zu on his knees and understood he was different from the others.

“This little boy is extremely talented! Hehehe!” observed the Ancestor of the Tower, stopping next to Lin Zu and stroking his beard.

“This is my son, Lin Zu,” Lin Feng introduced him. He had a warm feeling in his heart when he heard the ancestor flatter his son. He said to Lin Zu, “Little Zu, greet Master Ancestor of the Tower!”

“Greetings, Master Ancestor of the Tower!” exclaimed Lin Zu. He understood that the old man in the golden robe who was standing in front of him was much, much stronger than the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points, so he greeted him respectfully.

“Haha, not bad! Your son is a good little boy!” said the Ancestor of the Tower, patting Lin Feng’s shoulder before he disappeared. Lin Feng took Lin Zu up in his arms and left the mountain. The two men probably had a lot to talk about.

An hour later, the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points and the old man showed up at the foot of the mountain in front of Lin Feng and the two others.

“Lin Feng, what do you intend to do with my teacher and the Ancestor of the Tower?” the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points asked Lin Feng. Lin Feng had brought these two ancient overlords back. If other people from the World of Battles knew about this, it would shake the whole world. It would be a catastrophe. The current overlords might want to kill them!

The current overlords may think the ancient overlords were back to kill them and replace them. Therefore, the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points was worried about the old man, the Ancestor of the Tower, and the Region of the Eight Corners.

If the two ancient overlords joined the Region of the Eight Corners, the Region of the Eight Corners would immediately become a second-class influential group. It would surpass the Demon Region and the Human Clan! It would be as strong as the Buddhist Ancestor of the West’s world, and much stronger than Kun Dao’s group!

However, the four ancestors might join hands to put pressure on the Region of the Eight Corners. If that happened, the Region of the Eight Corners would be in great danger. The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points didn’t want Lin Feng to go that far. His teacher had just come back, so he didn’t want him to die straight away.

Lin Feng hadn’t thought of all that. Now that the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points asked him, Lin Feng’s expression slightly changed. Luckily, he hadn’t allowed Zhuang Ling Yun to talk about it. Otherwise, the Region of the Eight Corners might be in imminent danger!

The two overlords were strong, but they couldn’t compete with all the overlords of the World of Battles. Therefore, Lin Feng couldn’t let anyone know about their existence.

“Very simple, leave them here! People will learn about them sooner or later. Jun Hall’s Leader already knows about the two Masters. I think he’ll tell everybody quickly.

“We have no solution to that. We have to do what is necessary. If something happens, I will announce that I am not the Leader of the Region of the Eight Corners anymore, and then the overlords of the World of Battles will just attack me.

“Regarding the two Masters, I guess they could go back to Shen Hai Mo Lin,” Lin Feng answered thoughtfully. He didn’t panic because of the Ancestor’s question. Since he had already brought them to the Region, he couldn’t flinch.

When the Ancestor saw how determined Lin Feng looked, he smiled. The old man smiled and nodded as well, “Not bad, as expected! Little boy, from now on, Lin Feng is one of my core disciples! From now on, he is your fellow disciple,” the old man smiled.

The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points and Lin Feng were both dumbstruck. They couldn’t believe it. The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points smiled wryly, and Lin Feng looked perplexed. They had been teacher and disciple… and now they were fellow disciples. But it was their teacher’s decision, so nobody could contradict him!

“Fellow disciple, from now on we have the same teacher,” the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points said ironically. Lin Feng kept waving silently, but he couldn’t contradict the old man either.

They were now fellow disciples!

“Lin Feng, your fellow disciple just wanted to scare you. The World of Battles is a special place. Ancient overlords still have descendants and disciples, so they’re all interconnected.

“Therefore, there won’t be a problem. The current overlords will not join hands to kill the ancient overlords, but some of them may be in danger. Since you are not afraid, it’s not a problem.

“The Ancestor of the Tower and I can stay in the Region of the Eight Corners, but we won’t get involved in the affairs of the Region if other overlords aren’t involved. I will not kill your enemies for you. If the Region of the Eight Corners is ever in danger, then we’ll help. Alright?” said the old man, glancing at the Ancestor of the Tower. The Ancestor of the Tower kept nodding along, agreeing with everything. If they joined the Region of the Eight Corners, they couldn’t influence the world order.

The people of the World of Battles would already be dumbstruck knowing two ancient overlords were back!

The four other overlords and the fifty overlords of the List of the World of Battles would all react differently. Therefore, even if the two men joined hands, they couldn’t let anyone know about their existence yet. The Region of the Eight Corners would become more and more powerful, but one thing was sure: it would be thanks to Lin Feng! He was the one leading the Region of the Eight Corners.

If someday, Lin Feng broke through to the Earthly Godly Ancestor layer and became an overlord, then they would be able to show themselves!

“I agree. That’s exactly what I had in mind,” Lin Feng agreed. Initially, he was worried the Ancestor of the Tower or the old man would want to get involved in the affairs of the Region of the Eight Corners, so he was relieved when he heard them.

But in any case, the Region of the Eight Corners had definitely become stronger. They had two more overlords behind the scenes, plus the Ice Spirit and the Fire Spirit! Who would have thought that the Region of the Eight Corners would have five overlords so quickly?
