Huo Sikai stood up from the sofa in annoyance. “Don’t worry about it. Why are you panicking so much over a simple fever and cold? You really do blow me away!”

Noticing that Huo Sikai was packing up to leave, Shi Bei smiled as he raised an eyebrow. Then, he asked, “Are you not staying for tea?”

Huo Sikai grunted. “You’re not asking me to stay for tea. You’re obviously trying to feed me more of your lovey-dovey stuff! I’ve still got some work to do at the hospital. I have to go.”

Shi Beiyu chuckled softly and stood up. “Let me see you off.”

Huo Sikai immediately teased him. “Jeez, look who finally grew some conscience!”

After sending Huo Sikai away, Shi Beiyu sighed softly before he headed upstairs again.

As he saw how peacefully asleep Mu Siyin was, helplessness washed over him. There goes his plan of having candle-light dinner and sex tonight…
