Shi Beiyu gently and carefully applied medicine on Mu Siyin. The bruise on her wrist did not hurt that much, but she flinched when his long fingers brushed against her delicate shoulders. The pain escalated as if electricity was coursing through her veins, and she stiffened her body in response.

“Don’t let anyone bully you.”

Mu Siyin laughed before she said, “Don’t worry. I’m not going to let them get to me.”

Shi Beiyu nodded. “Okay. Starting tomorrow, I’ll send someone to send you to and from work.”

“That’s fine. I can handle my transportation myself.”

Shi Beiyu squinted his eyes as his voice turned cold. “I don’t want something like today to happen again.”

The next morning, Mu Siyin woke up to the familiar embrace. She had to admit that she felt safe sleeping in Shi Beiyu’s huge arms. It even helped her to sleep better!

He had even taken a cold shower twice while she was sound asleep last night!

“Awake?” His voice was raspy, and it was obvious that he had been awake for a while.

Mu Siyin nodded with a smile. “Mmhm. When did you get up?”

“Just now.”

Mu Siyin closed her eyes again and laid in his arms lazily. Only after a while did she get up reluctantly to wash up.

She really loved taking naps. However, she could not do so since she had to clock in for work punctually.

The couple held hands as they walked downstairs. The onlookers had never felt so lonely in their lives.

Their Young Master used to be a cold and reserved man who stayed away from women, so they had never imagined for him to hold another girl’s hand. Now, every second for them was torture.

Uncle Zhong was elated to see the couple on good terms again. It looked like one night was all it took to patch things up! He smiled sheepishly as he paced forward. “Looking good, Little Beibei!”

Shi Beiyu lifted his handsome brows and said profoundly, “I had a good night’s sleep.”

Upon saying so, he left Uncle Zhong alone as the old man’s mind wandered off. He then pulled Mu Siyin towards the dining room.

Uncle Zhong looked at the couple emotionally. “It’s so good to be young.”

After their breakfast, Shi Beiyu sent Mu Siyin to Mu Corporation before heading back to Emperor Dynasty Corporation.

Mu Siyin walked into the building in a good mood. She had just arrived on the twentieth floor when a familiar figure rushed out and pounced on her like a psycho.

“Mu Siyin, you wretch! I’m going to skin you alive!”

Mu Siyin knitted her brows and dodged the attack.

Steam was fuming out of Madam Gu as she lunged into nothingness. She almost tripped and fell on the floor.

“Mom! Are you okay?” Gu Yiling, who had come along, rushed to help Madam Gu up.
