One Useless Rebirth Chapter 206 – Him (Chapter 2)

Chapter 206: Him (2)

Translator: Sissy That Walk

He Bai went back to school after the holiday, before he got the chance to grab a seat and such, Niu Junjie threw himself at him and shook his shoulders, “Bai, good stuff, you and Qiuhe, you guys are awesome! Go check online, the photo you took for him went viral! It went viral! Everyone speaks highly of it, pros and netizens alike! Words have it that a museum reached out to our school, they would like to archive your work, they will reach out to you soon I think.”

He Bai felt dizzy from the shaking, he asked “what” in confusion.

“What to you mean by ‘what’?” Niu Junjie was looking for a better reaction, “Aren’t you excited? Overjoyed?”

Chenjie smiled and added, “This is the first time that a museum reached out to the contenders before the finals, how awesome you are Bai!”

“Yup yup, you are killing it Bai!” Wang Hu of course was excited too, and he shared what he had heard, “Why the museum is being so proactive this time is because there are several international museums are interested in Bai’s work, nah, to be accurate, they are interested in all Bai’s work that he uploaded on Weibo, our museum of course wants to strike first.”

He Bai finally broke free from Niu Junjie, “Wait, what? But how do they have access to my works on Weibo?” Yeah, in his previous life, several of his works were archived by a few museums, but back then he was a renowned photographer, but what was going on now? He just uploaded some scenery photos on Weibo…

Then he realized something and asked, “Has someone uploaded my works to abroad forums?”

Seeing He Bai had thought it all through finally, Niu Junjie nodded like crazy, “Yup yup yup, after you had uploaded for that Art Festival, your fans made you a portfolio and uploaded them to abroad forums to prove you have always been consistent. And what do you think, are you going to say yes to that museum?”

He Bai frowned and shook his head, “No, no one is going to archive Qiuhe’s photo but me.”

The three were dumbfounded for a second and said “ah~” in unison.

He Bai gave them a sideways stare, “What? Would you like your significant other’s photo hanging in a cold museum for a few decades or even a hundred years?”

Niu Junjie shook his head without hesitation and changed the topic considerately, he left the room with the other two roommates after they confirmed about dinner, leaving Bai some time and space to digest all that.

He Bai smiled thinking about this considerate gesture, he turned on his laptop and tried to catch up with what he had missed out.

Nothing much going on at Huangdu, just some dry gossip, like Di Bian had taken Di Xiasong to a party, Di Bian went a shopping spree with Qin Li, Di Bian was supporting which new celebrity……

While Di Qiuhe’s photos went viral online!

The top one on the most trendy topics was the news that He Bai’s work Qiu had made it to the finals on “International Art Festival for Uni Students” and that photo ranked the first on quarter-final. What ranked second was the behind the scene fun snaps released by ’s Army> official account, it was a collection of Di Qiuhe practising the stunts with the action choreographer. What ranked the third was some insider saying why Director Jiang Guanshan picked Di Qiuhe as the male lead was because he was impressed by two of Di Qiuhe’s street snaps, and two street snaps were attached.

He Bai now felt a bit overwhelmed for all those photos were his works, this definitely had something to do with Xing Shaofeng, this kind of bombarding publicity, Xing Shaofeng had definitely contributed a great deal.

“Hmm, what if the bombarding publicity backfired?” He murmured and logged in his Weibo account.

He had gained a considerable amount of new followers as expected, and of course a considerable amount of comments under all his posts, ALL his posts, there were comments left in other languages.

He… he had attracted international fans who had “climbed the wall” for him?

He looked at several comments that he was able to understand, and he blushed.

He could tell how zealous these international fans were, all those passionate compliments, straightforward praises, he even got several proposals.

There were of course comments asking him about his relationship with Di Qiuhe, the fans who had been shipping them were dying to know the truth, but the comments were all very tactful, He Bai guessed Xing Shaofeng had screened the comments beforehand, it was not out of control.

Meanwhile, there were also a large amount of comments asking him had he decided which work he would upload for the finals, it looked like people thought he would pick a scenery photo for was merely too great to top for the time being.

There were also some celebrities who had worked with He Bai posted the photos that He Bai had shot for them, like it was a confirmation of how famous they were that they had once worked with He Bai.
