Huo Mian opened her mouth to answer but was interrupted by a loud knocking at the bathroom door. It was one of her bodyguards. “Ma’am, are you still in there?”

“We’re still here,” Huo Mian immediately responded.

“Mr. Qin is worried about you and Ms. Xixi, so he asked me to come to check up on you guys.”

After Zhixin left, Qin Chu and Huo Mian glanced at each other in unison.

Qin Chu and Huo Mian left in their car shortly after Zhixin and Bella left in theirs.
