She saw a figure curling up in the corner of the room.

The man stood up slowly.

When she shone the light on the man’s face, she felt her hair stand on end.

It was so creepy.

This man was actually Huo Siqian, the man whom she thought had already left the island.

Why did he lock himself in here?

“Why… why are you here?” Huo Mian asked him, trying hard to stay calm.

“Why are you here?” he asked.

“I thought you left the island. So, I came down to find food as there’s no food up in the cottage,” said Huo Mian.

“Oh, I see…” He nodded and didn’t look surprised.

As Huo Mian remained silent, Huo Siqian beckoned at her and smiled. “Huo Mian, come here.”

“Why?” Huo Mian looked at him warily; instead of walking forward, she took two steps back instinctively.

“I sprained my ankle and can’t walk. Can you help me?” he said with a smile.
