She did not show any gratefulness towards Rick’s action, infuriating Rick’s bodyguards, who were watching from a distance.

They wanted to run over and beat this arrogant woman up but Rick raised his hand to stop them in place.

“Get out of here! No one come over!” Rick said in fluent English.

When his bodyguards heard his command, no one dared to move.

“Xixi, between us…” Rick seemed to want to say something but Xixi would not allow him to finish.

When he opened his lips, she already threw herself into his arms.

She wrapped her hands tightly against his neck.

It had been a long time since Rick smelled Xixi’s warm and peaceful scent. All of a sudden, Rick’s eyes became watery. How could this girl always bring him such unbelievable feelings. I thought you would never forget about me, but in reality, I was the one that couldn’t forget about you… You’re so cruel that you didn’t even come and see me even after you came back to the country? If it wasn’t for Pudding telling me, I probably wouldn’t have even seen you, right? I just want to ask you what I did wrong? Why are you so cruel to me?” Xixi cried and pleaded while she cuddled Rick. Her words and tears really made people’s hearts ache for her.
