Chapter 565: Kisses

Jing Yichen was able to remember things after a single glance. He remembered the face of every resident who was in the Landscape Compound after living here for so long.

The beach was located slightly outside the city, so most of the people who came to take a walk here were mostly the residents of Landscape Compound. It was normal that some strange faces appeared every now and then, but new strangers every single day made it stand out.

Luckily, those people were just here to observe how they lived their life, not to take their lives. Otherwise Jing Yichen would not have dared to bring Shangguan Ning and Jing Rui out for a walk.

These people were all from the Tang Family. Jing Yichen had already accumulated enough information about the Tang Family and was forming a siege so as to take hold of these people at one go, erasing all possible complications which could arise out of it later.

The Tang Family owned a group of mafias who were not in A City. So it was almost impossible for them to control the Jing Family.

Jing Yichen had not yet found out what made the Tang Family hate him so deeply. Probably it was because after the Tang Family betrayed the Jing Family, the Jing Family crushed them or maybe it was because of something else.

He had offended and killed numerous people in his life. Same went for Jing Zhongxiu and Jing Tianyuan.

It was not possible to avoid assassinations and bloodshed when a powerful empire grew.

It was very normal that there were enemies and Jing Yichen had many, many enemies to face.

However, those who dared to intend to kill him were only Yang Muyan and the Tang Family. The rest of the enemies only fought with him in business rather than attacking him or his family.

Jing Yichen had managed to take control of some part of the Tang Family’s forces based on the clues which Jing Yiran had given him. In a couple of days, the strange faces on the beach would all be gone.

After they took a walk alongside the sea, the parents and the child went back home. The wind was quite strong and Jing Rui may catch a cold.

Shangguan Ning coaxed Jing Rui to sleep and Jing Yichen led Tiger and his men into the study.

He would not allow any outsiders to take over his territory.

Every time when Jing Yichen took a walk with his family, he would get very angry when he found his wife and child being stared at by those people.

But they were now in a very precarious balance. Jing Yichen would not kill those people of his own accord, nor did his enemy start a fight with him.

Therefore, before he was fully sure of the situation, Jing Yichen would not start the war.

But in the past two days, Jing Yichen had already made headway in the investigation and he could now start to remove part of the enemy’s force.

“Tiger, get the men ready for action. Those men hired by the Tang Family are not especially loyal to them, so just drive them away. But the loyal arms of the Tang Family must be killed as soon as possible. There are twelve of them on this list. Get them all tomorrow!”

Jing Yichen sounded cold. It did not matter to him any more why they had caught him and tortured him earlier. What mattered was that these people had to die, now!

Tiger responded instantly, “Yes, Master. Don’t worry, none of them will survive!”

Jing Yichen nodded calmly and then turned to Lee Duo and Knife Lee. “Keep Ning and Jing Rui safe in the upcoming days. There may be danger lurking around the corner. I will tell Ning to stay at home for the next few days.”

Lee Duo said in a low voice, “Don’t worry Master, we will keep the lady and Master Junior safe and sound.”

Knife Lee did not say anything, but he nodded as well.

Shangguan Ning was weaving an enormous and complicated plan against Zhao Anan whilst Jing Yichen was making one against the Tang Family. The difference was that Jing Yichen needed to be part of the plan, too.

If he did not get involved, the enemy would not exert all his efforts and he would not be able to remove all of his forces in one go.

Jing Yichen rearranged the plan and did not leave the study until midnight.

In the bedroom, Shangguan Ning was lying on the bed, with her legs dangling on the ground. The floor light and bedside light were on, and she was reading some documents. Liyu Science and Technology was about to get launched and she had to go through these complicated figures.

Seeing Jing Yichen entering the room, she put aside the documents and reached out for him.

Jing Yichen smiled, and came to her side in long strides. He kissed her hard on the lips as he whispered, “You have been waiting all this time for a hug?”

Shangguan Ning blinked and switched on her sweet voice as she slipped her hands across his broad waist. “I want kisses too!”

“I just gave one.”

“No, that one doesn’t count. That was before I told you. Now I have said it, so I need some more!”

“You have made it really clear, right?”

Shangguan Ning got furious. “Are you kissing me or not!”

Jing Yichen teased her purposefully. “What if I am not?”

Shangguan Ning leaned forward and bit his lips. She said gleefully, “Then I can kiss you. You are good-looking enough for me to do so!”

Jing Yichen lowered his head and gave her a very deep kiss.

As their tongues and lips were tangled together, the atmosphere became intense.

Jing Yichen found himself breathing heavily, but he still remembered to tell Shangguan Ning the important thing first. “Baby, stay at home in the next few daysand do not go anywhere. I am going to get the Tang Family out of our life and they may strike back.”

Shangguan Ning stared at him with a pair of clear eyes and said with a soft voice, “I understand. I am not going anywhere. I will be staying at home with my son, waiting for you. You must be careful too. Don’t take risks.”

“Yes, I won’t.”

He answered her in an unsteady voice.

It was turning quite hot in the bedroom, where the bodies were tangled together. The flirty movement reached its peak against the faint light.

The following morning, Jing Yichen got up with a fresh mind, but Shangguan Ning failed to rise at all. She had been taken by Jing Yichen far too many times to not feel pain in her body.

Seeing his wife’s charming face and the grudging look, Jing Yichen could not help but get delighted. He gave a deep kiss to his wife and left with Tiger.

Shangguan Ning never slept in, and with Jing Rui here, she would not allow herself to be lazy.

Although she felt sore, she got up, and tidied herself. Then she bathed Jing Rui along with the nanny.

Jing Rui enjoyed bathing a lot and that made Shangguan Ning very surprised.

Every time he was having a bath, he would giggle.

The introverted nanny did not like talking. But she took great care of Jing Rui. She was also quite delighted to see Jing Rui giggling. She had taken care of many babies before, but most of them did not like being bathed and they would always wail as they touched water. It was the first time for her to see a baby like Jing Rui who liked being bathed.

“It is a good thing that Master Junior likes it. An old saying goes that such babies tend to be exceptionally healthy.”

Bathing removed filth, so old people tended to think that a child who liked being bathed would become exceptionally strong because he did not have any dirt on him.
