A sinister smile hovered over Yang Muyan’s mouth. She looked at Jing Yiran and pointed at Lu who was staring at her transfixed. “If you hate Jing Yichen so much, what about… killing his old bodyguard? I will believe you fully if you kill her.”

Jing Yiran did not expect that Yang Muyan would put forward such an unreasonable requirement.

Lu was obviously an underdeveloped woman who had regarded this woman as a fairy. What made her say such a terrible thing?

Lu also stared at Yang Muyan with a pair of widened eyes and said unhappily, “You are such a bad woman. Why do you want my Second Brother to kill me? I can kill you with a single fist.”

Jing Yiran got up and was about to go out, but he turned to Lu and picked her up by her collar and dragged her away.

“Give the declaration back to me. What use will it be if it is not announced after so long?”

Jing Yiran looked at her with disdain. It seemed as if he had no intention of staying back.

As a matter of fact, he wanted to ask more about her current situation and future plans, but if he did that, Yang Muyan would start to suspect him. That was why he stopped halfway.

When he was about to leave the room, Yang Muyan suddenly said in a calm voice, “I can help you financially. You are in charge of killing Jing Yichen, how does that sound? I can give you money, men and anything you need.”

Jing Yiran turned around and said with a sneer, “Tut, I do not trust you any more. You want me to kill this man today and that woman tomorrow, maybe one day it will be my turn to be killed. You can work with anyone you want, but not me!”

Having said the words, he ignored Yang Muyan and left with Lu.

But Lu was still shouting loudly, “Second Brother, I want candy! You promised to buy it for me….”

Seeing Jing Yiran getting furious and walking away, Yang Muyan finally believed that there was no secret deal between Jing Yiran and Jing Yichen.

She did not leave the coffee store.

If Jing Yiran was trustworthy, then he would not reveal her location to Jing Yichen. So what she could do now was to enjoy the coffee and pay for the broken table which Lu had destroyed.

A couple of days later, Jing Yiran received the declaration from Yang Muyan.

After reading it carefully and making sure that it was authentic, he let out a sigh of relief.

It seemed that Yang Muyan had believed him.

Jing Yiran could not help but feel a bit proud. He had fooled such a smart person like Yang Muyan by putting on a show. Maybe he should consider going into the entertainment industry if he does not have any job in the future. After all, he had the face and the acting skills that might make him a Movie King.

Jing Yiran was not going to announce the declaration. In order to make Jing Yichen trust him and ensure Lu’s return to Family Jing, he returned the declaration to Jing Yichen.

Jing Yiran met Jing Yichen in person to give him such an important paper. He did not have any trustworthy men like Yang Muyan, who could be entrusted to deliver this important document.

“Here is your declaration. I have also found Yang Muyan. I believe that you have almost found the people behind Tang Yun. I have done whatever I could. Now, when can Lu return to the Jing Family?”

Jing Yichen still found the whole thing unreal despite holding the declaration in his hand.

After all, he and Jing Yiran had been in a fight with each other for years. But now, Jing Yiran suddenly changed. He was like a docile sheep who used to be a wolf earlier.

A fight required two people and if one of them submitted, the fight would not continue.

Jing Yichen could not utter a single mean word which he had prepared beforehand.

He did not find this man familiar at all.

Jing Yichen tore the declaration and tossed the paper into the sea.

“You did have done a great deal for us, but that is not enough for Family Jing to extend the shelter. But as long as she stays in A City, she would not be in any danger. She needs blood transfusion next week and I will get it ready for her.”
