Sure enough, Lu stared at Jing Yiran transfixedly and her large eyes started glazing.

Delighted, Jing Yiran planted a kiss upon her forehead softly and then said in a gentle tone, “Lu, do you like it when I kiss you?”

With candies clenched hard in hands, Lu didn’t look confused any more.

She said happily, “My forehead itches. Brother Jing, why are you kissing me? Uncle Lu says that if a man kisses me, then it means that he wants to marry me. Are you marrying me? Or, are you just trying to trick me into give you candies? I can marry you, but I won’t share the candies with you.”

Jing Yiran’s expressions fell when he heard what she said. He scratched his hair regretfully and turned his head to look at Lu. Then, the sense of familiarity arose again.

He stared at Lu’s lips for a long while and felt that he had seen this kind of lips on someone else before.

He asked in bewilderment, “Why do I feel that I have met you before?”

Lu shook her head pitifully. “Brother Jing, you didn’t go to hospital to check yourself up, did you? We met yesterday, the day before yesterday and two days ago too. Why are you so forgetful?”

“No, it is not you whom I met. But that person looked like you, no, no, she didn’t, she had a different temperament, but…. why do I feel that the two of you look like each other?”

He had the upper hand when it came to conquering girls but she was the only one who always ended up defeating him. What was more, Jing Yichen was the only one in her heart and that drove him crazy.

A hint of viciousness flashed across Jing Yiran’s eyes as he strode towards Jing Yichen’s office.

On the office door, two characters that represented the supreme authority, namely “The President”, were written.

Jing Yiran’s fingers splayed across the two characters as he laughed inside his heart –”This all will be mine soon!”

He withdrew his hands, pushed the door open and walked in.

In the office, Jing Yichen was talking on phone in French. Hearing the sound of door opening, he didn’t even look up but continued to talk.

Jing Yiran was a bit annoyed by his indifferent attitude towards him. But he soon calmed down and started to survey around the office as if patrolling around his own territory.

Jing Yichen hung up the phone and then looked at Jing Yiran. He was lethal and distant. “No more surveying, none of this will be yours however much you look around. If you don’t want to die a terrible death, get out of here now.”

“Hahaha!” Jing Yiran laughed wildly as he sat down cross-legged onto the chair next to the bookshelf. “All will be mine very soon, and you will be the one suffering a terrible death. Do you think that you are always going to win? Bah, you are just extolled by those ignorant ones. What will you do when your properties are all gone?”

“I may not win every time, but I am capable enough to deal with you.” Jing Yichen stayed in the same mood as he always was, except that his look was freezing sharp. “Your mother died so easily and you won’t die in pain either. You have no right over anything of Family Jing, and your birth was a mistake! Get out of here and continue to do whatever you wish to do. At least, try and prove that you are not an idiot.”

Jing Yiran’s sinister smile disappeared. He glared at Jing Yichen with his bloodshot eyes and bellowed furiously, “I will never let go of the fact that you murdered my mother. Do you think that you can trick me like you trick everyone else? No one can kill a person as easily as you do. Haha, so your mother died and you wanted mine dead too? How pitiful, because even if everyone else in the world dies, your mother is still dead.”

With a loud banging sound, Jing Yiran was unexpectedly attacked by Jing Yichen’s kick. He spat out a mouthful of blood, instantly.

Jing Yichen stomped upon Jing Yiran’s fingers. It seemed that the bones had been broken again.

“Although I have no idea who killed that woman, but I am grateful to that person, because she should have died ages ago. If you want to join her so desperately, let me do this for you.”

Having said the words, Jing Yichen lifted his legs and kicked hard upon Jing Yiran’s chest again.

Another mouthful of blood gushed out of Jing Yiran’s mouth. He almost suffocated with the pain from the chest.

He wanted to get up and give Jing Yichen a violent kick as well. But he had already lost his strength and couldn’t even breathe.

He spat out more and more blood but Jing Yichen didn’t show any mercy. He was going to kill him.

A woman’s loud scream brought him up from the drifting awareness.

“Stop, Yichen, stop! He is dying!”

Oh, it was Shangguan Ning. He would have already reached hell if she had been late by even a minute.

Shangguan Ning had been on the way to sort a large pile of documents in her office when she heard some yelling from Jing Yichen’s office. Fearing that something bad was happening, she rushed in.

The moment she entered the door, she saw Jing Yiran lying on the floor, breathing weakly whilst Jing Yichen stomping his chest.

She tried to grab Jing Yichen and screamed to make him stop.

Jing Yichen stopped when she held him. Seeing his wife’s anxious face, he consoled her in composure. “It is okay, don’t be scared. It doesn’t matter if he is dead. If Jingsheng is gone because of his death, I won’t be sorry. Jingsheng isn’t that valuable in my eyes anyway.”
