Yang Wenshu twitched. She wanted to wake up but found that she had no energy left.

Three days ago, she had been stabbed by Shangguan Ning and lost a lot of blood. Although the servants had helped her fix the wound so she wouldn’t die too early, but they didn’t take good care of her after that.

She used to scold and beat these servants when Shangguan Zheng was not around. Sometimes she would even cut their salary and prevented them from resigning. Therefore, the servants were scared and hated her a lot.

Why was her daughter not here to save her yet? Why hadn’t she killed everyone by now?

Yang Wenshu was just thinking this when the sound of a gunshot ripped across the room.

The bullet pierced through Shangguan Zheng’s heart and blood gushed out.

Shangguan Ning hadn’t expected this sudden change in plans. She called out “Dad” subconsciously and was about to walk forward when Lu’s gunshot sound stopped her in her tracks.

Eyes wide and hands over his chest, Shangguan Zheng fell onto the floor slowly.

In the meanwhile, after Lu’s gunshot, a low moaning sound came from one corner of the villa.

Tiger understood what he meant. Jing Yichen wanted to reach the person behind this plan through that man.

It was the first time for Jing Yiran to watch Jing Yichen handling a situation. He couldn’t help but feel something bizarre inside his heart. Judging from what he saw and heard, it seemed as if all was within Jing Yichen’s control.

The assassination took place right in front of him and judging from the way the killer used the gun, he could have killed anyone. But Jing Yichen showed composure and no display of panic throughout.

Jing Yichen wasn’t surprised at his appearance either. Only Shangguan Ning next to him couldn’t hide her astonishment.

It was impossible!

He couldn’t be that competent to be able to predict the occurrence of everything.

Was he that competent or was it that he didn’t care about what was happening, because all of these matters were just minor things for him? That was why he could solve problems without difficulties.

Was he so actually less capable than Jing Yichen?

Jing Yiran had been quite interested in how drastically Lu had changed but he didn’t have time for her currently, because now the matter had become beyond his prediction and control. Shangguan Zheng was dead, so all that he had been planning, was gone.

Everything he touched turned into dust!

Shangguan Ning released Jing Yichen’s hands and walked to Shangguan Zheng’s body which lay on the floor.

She had no tears in her eyes. She didn’t feel a sense of sadness at the sight of her deceased father.

Her feelings were complicated at the moment. She had wanted Shangguan Zheng to die, but when he really did die, she felt that he just passed away too fast. He had been standing right in front of her a second ago and turned into a corpse the next.

He was shot when he was kicking Yang Wenshu. So it was possible that the intention was to stop him from tormenting Yang Wenshu any further.

Who would have come to Yang Wenshu’s rescue and who would have killed for her?

Could it be that Shangguan Rouxue was still alive?

Be it or not, Yang Wenshu was going to die today.
