The unknown people didn’t stop following them until a long time later.

Jing Yichen walked ahead and then suddenly turned around. He said to Tiger in a low voice, “Ask Lee Duo to follow them and check them out. Remember not to alert them.”

Tiger understood that his Master had also noticed that they were under the scanner, so he nodded and sent a message to Lee Duo.

“Master Jing” was a title that only belonged to Jing Yichen. Usually, people didn’t address him as Elder Master but Master Jing, because the Second Master of Family Jing was not his equal.

Ji Bo sounded very calm. The way he talked made him sound like an elder brother from the neighborhood.

“I am well aware of Master Jing’s power. It is impossible to kill him. I don’t want to be dragged down with you. You better find someone else.”

Jing Yiran sipped the cocktail and said in an arrogant tone, “You are indeed not capable enough but what if I offer my help? It is always easier to demolish a castle from inside than from outside. Don’t you want to at least try when I am giving you the opportunity by being the mole for you?”

“If we succeed, you will lose a strong enemy. I am a member of Family Jing, but I am not capable when compared to you and I will never be able to beat you either, so don’t worry about me being your competition. If we lose the battle, you will not be held responsible because I will be the one to take the blame. Family Jing won’t do anything to me except for some slight physical punishment or restriction of my activities. My properties might be taken away but in a couple of years, I will be able to get back to my original status again!”

Ji Bo felt persuaded, but he still didn’t want to put his blind faith in Jing Yiran.

He was such a ruthless man to desert his own family and had tried so many methods to kill Jing Yichen. It was an extremely dangerous thing to collaborate with a man without morality.

Seeing Ji Bo wearing a gentle expression, Jing Yiran still couldn’t fathom his thoughts. So he continued to tempt him. “90 % of the money of Family Ji is earned by you, but you only own a quarter of the inheritance. Isn’t that a terrible deal? Don’t you want to possess the entire Family Ji after you have been devoted to the family for so many years? Don’t you want to be the only heir of Family Ji?”

“If you help me to remove those barriers in the family, I will also help you remove the others. Does that sound good? You won’t lose anything in this deal, but I could lose everything! I don’t care about the losses, as long as I am the only heir of my family. Hahaha!”

What Jing Yiran said hit the weakest part inside Ji Bo’s heart.

Ji Jiameng and Ji Ling had been the barriers in front of him for a very long time and Ji Bo had wanted to remove them numerous times, but he was afraid that if he lost, he would be totally ruined.

But now, Jing Yiran had put forward a nearly perfect plan. If they succeeded in this collaboration, both sides would gain tremendously and both of them had enough dope on each other, which made it impossible for either to betray the other. It could be a steady relationship due to their vested interests.

Wealth was gained with risks! The risk and revenues always went hand in hand. If you wanted to get the wealth that no one else could get, then you would need to take the risk which no one else dared to. What was more, he was able to pass on all the risk to Jing Yiran and others so that he faced the least risk.

Ji Bo was sorely tempted.

“So many people want you to die, Jing Yichen, and it is not my fault. You should blame yourself for being so powerful that everybody fears you and wants to work together to make you disappear from this world!”

Ji Bo looked up. He no longer looked gentle but fiercely crazy!

“Is your plan solid enough? I suggest you explain it in detail to me so that I can help you modify it in case of any unexpected development. We don’t want to be trapped, do we?”

Ji Bo considered himself to be even more discreet than Jing Yiran.

Knowing that he agreed with what he suggested, Jing Yiran showed a vicious smile. “Don’t worry. It is a fool-proof plan. He has almost no weakness but all human beings have atleast one. His is a very, very clear one…”
