Jing Yichen knew what his wife meant. She still thought that Mu Qing and Zhao Anan looked good together.

He said calmly, “No need. It is impossible between him and Anan.”

As a matter of fact, Shangguan Ning had guessed that as well. Mu Qing was the outstanding heir of Family Mu and he was going to be the backbone of the family. He could choose whichever woman he wanted to marry, but he couldn’t marry a woman who might be infertile.

Also, Anan must be very tired after the long flight. You better not to disturb her by asking her to sleep with you.”

It was quite noisy at the airport. Shangguan Ning and Jing Yichen waited for a while post which, a short-hair girl with a slender body appeared in front of them. She was dressed in black leather top and pants. She was wearing a huge pair of sunglasses that covered half of her face, making her look very pretty and cool, which turned a lot of heads.

There was a middle aged lady with two large pieces of luggage behind her walking with a smile on her face.

Shangguan Ning called out to her happily, “Anan, I am here!”

Zhao Anan had already seen her a while ago. The man looked handsome but distant whilst the woman was elegant and beautiful – they looked like a star couple. They were clinging to each other so intimately that it was impossible not to notice them.

Zhao Anan had never expected that her iceberg like cousin would be so indulgent. He looked at his wife in a gentle manner and kept his arms around her waist as if fearing that she would slip away if he wasn’t paying attention.

Sigh! Her god-like cousin finally became human after meeting Shangguan Ning.

Zhao Anan sprinted to Shangguan Ning and gave her a huge hug and a kiss. Her cousin frowned unhappily as if he wanted to punch her.

She burst into laughter. Removing her sunglasses, she said, “Beauty, I missed you so much. You should sleep with me tonight!”

Jing Yichen couldn’t tolerate it any more. He pinched Zhao Anan’s collars with two fingers and then dragged her aside and told her seriously, “Stay away from Ning! No touching!”

Zhao Zhao, Zhao Anan’s mother, came there with two large pieces of luggage and criticized her unhappily as well. “Why are you trying to snatch your cousin’s wife? You better get me a son-in-law instead. You are twenty-seven years old and still unmarried. Must I keep feeding you for your entire life?”

Zhao Zhao, however, had a completely different reaction than Zhao Anan. She had a huge smile on her face at the sight of Mu Qing. Ignoring her luggage, she went up to pull Mu Qing into a hug.

She said happily, “Mu Qing, so good that you are here to pick up Zhao Anan. Help me get her luggage and drop her home. I need to be somewhere else, I am very busy, you know.”

She looked sharply at Shangguan Ning and Jing Yichen, indicating that they should not interfere so that Mu Qing was the one to drop Zhao Anan home.

Shangguan Ning was startled. Didn’t Jing Yichen say that it was impossible between them? Why did Zhao Anan’s mother seem so eager to match her daughter to Mu Qing, then? Didn’t Mu Qing have a lot of girlfriends as per the rumours? Why did Zhao Zhao still care so much about him and show more enthusiasm to him than to her nephew, Jing Yichen?
