However, the next scene left Qingfeng Li and his friends in utter shock. The two halves of the armored demonic soldier merged back together, good as new. It was as though nothing had happened at all.

Black Puppy, as the Dog Ancestor of the Ancient Continents, knew a little about such demonic soldiers. It opened its jaw to explain, “Qingfeng Li, these demonic soldiers are made of undead devilish energy. They cannot be killed by physical techniques alone. Only fire and lightning can defeat them.”

Qingfeng Li nodded. Channeling his golden flame, he let them dance upon his index and middle fingers before flicking it forward in a flash of golden fire.

In just a moment, the armored demonic soldier was reduced to a wisp of black smoke, fading into the air. This, however, seemed to anger the devilish energy filling the canyon. The black energy tumbled and turned, creating several hundred armored demonic soldiers that charged toward Qingfeng Li and his friends.

Qingfeng Li’s expression changed as he cried out, “Everyone, back away! Quickly, get out of here!”

If it were just one armored demonic soldier, Qingfeng Li could naturally kill it with ease. Hell, he could kill ten of them. But against hundreds and thousands of black phantom soldiers, even Qingfeng Li would be in trouble.
