The number of rooms suited her fine because she did not usually get visitors. However, the presence of an additional person stressed Su Qingcheng out. She had to sleep in the living room because there were no extra beds for her to use.

“Miss Su, is your friend drunk?”

Aunty Zhang, the nanny, asked quietly from the other bedroom.

Su Qingcheng nodded and glanced toward the bedroom behind Aunty Zhang. She lowered her voice and asked, “Is An An asleep?”

“He fell asleep a long time ago, but he was asking to see his mother before he finally dozed off! An An can sleep at my place since your friend is here tonight. That’ll make it easier for you to take care of your friend!”
