He was no longer jealous of Papa for fetching Mama secretly because Aunt said… when Papa and Mama had time to interact alone, they would be able to work hard to give Tuan Tuan a younger brother or sister. Aunt said… it was like how Tuan Tuan needed to focus when he was trying to create an especially perfect drawing—they couldn’t be disturbed, and it must be completed when Papa and Mama were alone together!

Aunt even said that it was because Papa and Mama had such a perfect product like Tuan Tuan that they had to work hard to create an equally perfect younger brother or sister for him!

By the time he put a jacket on Song Yao, Lin Nuan and her family had already walked over. Cen Mo retracted his hands and stuck them in his pockets, then beamed at Tuan Tuan.

“Uncle!” Tuan Tuan addressed Cen Mo.

Hearing Tuan Tuan’s soft and cute voice, Cen Mo smiled.

Lin Nuan glanced at Cen Mo, then raised a hand to tug at Fu Huai’an’s arm. “You take Tuan Tuan in first, I have something to say to Cen Mo…”

Cen Mo seemed to be pondering Lin Nuan’s words seriously. His gaze was lowered, and his brows were furrowed…

Cen Mo looked up, his eyes meeting Lin Nuan’s clear and clean ones. She said, “Basking yourself in hatred towards a person, isn’t… isn’t that too good a deal for the person you hate! Why should someone we hate occupy so much of our limited time? Won’t our lover suffer a loss?”

Although Cen Mo had no idea where Lin Nuan’s logic came from, he felt it made sense for some reason. He looked at Lin Nuan’s smiley face with both hands in pockets and nodded.

Song Yao came out with brewed tea. She subconsciously glanced in the direction Lin Nuan and Cen Mo were standing. Seeing that the two of them seemed to be smiling, Song Yao was in a great mood too.

“Tea is here!” Song Yao called out.

Cen Mo turned around, and his eyes met Song Yao’s big eyes that twinkled with a smile. She bent over and placed the tea on the coffee table, her silk-like long hair slipping down her shoulders. Song Yao raised a hand to curl her long hair behind an ear, then straightened her body and smiled at him. Her skin was so fair that it glowed, and she looked beautiful, like an angel who fell from heaven.
