Mr Fu, I Really Love You 793 The Man Standing Before Her Was a Soldier!

The assistant director walked over quickly, brought Fu Tianci away, and solemnly told him that he was underage and wasn’t allowed to drink.

Fu Tianci was stubborn and tried to debate with the assistant director, saying, “Isn’t the concept of your show chatting with the guests while drinking wine with them? I’ve seen your show! Don’t try to bluff me! I want red wine too! You can’t show differential treatment!”

“That’s for adults. You’re underage!”

Hearing Lin Nuan’s voice from behind the sofa, Fu Tianci sat on the sofa like a deflated balloon, mumbling, “I’m already 18, yet you’re treating me like a kid!”

“Go backstage and change your clothes! Ask your friends to change into different clothes too!” Lin Nuan patted Fu Tianci’s shoulder with the information papers she was holding in her hand, not wanting to argue with him about him being a minor.

Fu Tianci’s ears turned red. He quickly stood up and waved to his friends, who were seated in the audience seats. “Let’s go change our clothes!”

Miss Xia came by and told the director and Lin Nuan to start recording the show when Fu Tianci and his friends finished changing their clothes…

Lin Nuan was still worried about Fu Huai’an meeting Qin Zhe, but she had to separate work from her personal affairs. So she closed her eyes and adjusted her emotions, then devoted herself fully to her work.

The show didn’t proceed quite like Fu Tianci had envisioned it in regards to the topic of campus violence. More of the discussion focused on Fu Tianci.

Before the filming began, Miss Xia had talked about this with Fu Tianci, telling him that the interview would focus mainly on him. She said that they could bring up the topic of campus violence but couldn’t delve deep into it.

Fu Tianci had never been an obedient child. He knew that Lin Nuan meant to talk more about campus violence, so he deliberately geared the interview towards that topic, making Miss Xia unsure whether to laugh or cry.

Thankfully, Lin Nuan could somewhat hold the steady pace and tone of the show and didn’t run awry with Fu Tianci. She always had a way of subtly bringing back the pace, even choosing the perfect times to mention how society should pay more attention to the topic of campus violence.

Miss Xia stood behind the camera, gazing at Lin Nuan, who had beautiful eyes and was smiling with her red lips. She knew that, inwardly, Lin Nuan had the same thoughts as Fu Tianci, that she wanted to have a proper discussion on the topic of campus violence.

Miss Xia was deep in her thoughts when someone suddenly patted her on the shoulder. She turned around to see that it was Fang Yan.

Fang Yan gestured for Miss Xia to step out with her. Miss Xia turned to glance at Fu Tianci and Lin Nuan, who were still recording the show onstage, before following Fang Yan out of the recording studio.

Outside of the recording studio, a smartly-dressed man stood before the large French windows, watching the busy streets of Haicheng. Merely looking at his side profile, one could tell that he was masculine and had a strong presence.

“Mr. Xing…” Fang Yan called out.

Xing Feng turned around. His handsome and masculine features had a sense of justice about them, making it seem as if he could defeat all darkness.

Miss Xia could tell with one glance that the man standing before her was a soldier!

Xing Feng extended a hand to Miss Xia. “How do you do! I’m Xing Feng. It was Mr. Fu who asked me to look for you!”

Once she heard it was the behind-the-scenes boss of their agency asking him to look for her, Miss Xia didn’t dare treat him disrespectfully. She hurriedly shook hands with Xing Feng. “Hello!”

“Is there an appropriate place for me to slowly chat with Miss Xia?” Xing Feng asked Fang Yan.

Miss Xia was still in a dazed state. She didn’t even know what Xing Feng wanted to talk to her about, feeling pretty nervous talking with a soldier.

“May I be abrupt and ask, what does Mr. Xing wish to talk about?” Miss Xia asked.

“Mr. Xing wants to collaborate with our agency on a show!” Fang Yan lowered her voice. “It’s a show to do with the military…”

Miss Xia felt her heart leap, understanding what Fang Yan meant based on their chemistry of many years.

Xing Feng was a member of the military, and Fu Huai’an had asked him to come over, so he should be there to look for Lin Nuan to collaborate on a show! The military originally had its own TV station and program plans, yet Fang Yan had asked Miss Xia to come out…

That meant that Xing Feng wanted Miss Xia to be the program planner and Lin Nuan to be the show host.

Miss Xia nodded, then glanced at her wristwatch. “Why don’t we go talk about it in the office? Lin Nuan and that kid Fu Tianci are almost done with the recording of the show, so Lin Nuan can come along with us!”

Fang Yan glanced at Xing Feng, as if asking him for his opinion.

Xing Feng hesitated for a moment, a little concerned that Lin Nuan wouldn’t agree to do the show once she saw him. He then nodded. “Then… let’s wait for Lin Nuan!”

While Miss Xia, Fang Yan, and Xing Feng were talking at the door, Lin Nuan was finishing with the show, already speaking the closing words.

Miss Xia pushed open the door to the recording studio. They could hear Lin Nuan’s clear and pleasant voice. Xing Feng clenched his fists secretly. Lin Nuan’s voice gave off a warm feeling, yet it was filled with power and resilience, truly making her a suitable choice to do a military-themed show.

However, he didn’t know if Lin Nuan would be willing to take on the show.

While the staff members were helping Lin Nuan remove her microphone, Lin Nuan dialed Fu Huai’an’s number.

She wanted to confirm their lunch date that day, and more importantly… she wanted to get reassurance that Fu Huai’an wasn’t going to do something dangerous with Qin Zhe.

The call got through, so Lin Nuan clenched her phone and indicated apologetically to the staff members that she was going to take a phone call, then began walking towards a quiet corner. “I just finished recording the show here. Shall I head directly to the Kaide Corporation to look for you?”

Lin Nuan could hear the sound of her blood flowing rapidly by her ears. She was afraid that Fu Huai’an would apologize for not being able to eat lunch with her that afternoon.

“Ok, but I’m going to a half-hour meeting soon, and based on experience, by the time you arrive, it probably won’t have ended yet. I’ll get Little Lu to prepare you some snacks. If the meeting hasn’t ended when you arrive, eat some snacks to fill your stomach a little first!”

Lin Nuan could hear the sound of Fu Huai’an flipping through documents over the phone.

She felt relieved, a smile curling up on her lips, her voice sounding calm and gentle. “It’s fine. You go get busy with work. I’ll wait for you. If you really can’t make it, I can go to Man Jiang Lou and order some of your favorite dishes to go. So long as I’m eating with you, even takeout tastes good!”

Fu Huai’an laughed in a low voice. “Mrs. Fu’s mouth is so sweet. I really want to have a taste of it!”

“Ok! I’ll let you try in a while!” There was a blissful tone in the way that she talked. “I’ll see you later, Mr. Fu!”

“See you later, Mrs. Fu!”

After hanging up the phone, Lin Nuan felt relieved, yet the heavy sensation in her heart didn’t dissipate.

Fu Huai’an’s reaction was way too normal, so normal that it made Lin Nuan detect something unusual…

After Fu Huai’an saw Qin Zhe and heard that news from him, could he really joke around with her like usual?

Today, she saw the way his fingers trembled and that dark look in the depths of his eyes.

There was a fleeting moment where Fu Huai’an couldn’t conceal the violence in his eyes, and Lin Nuan saw it.

Putting away her phone, Lin Nuan looked up to see that the staff members were all looking in her direction, covering their mouths as they smiled and speaking in hushed whispers.
