Bai Xiaonian stepped out of the restaurant, with Lu Jinnan following right behind her. Bai Xiaonian had merely walked through the main lobby of the restaurant, yet she could feel that her clothes and hair now had the hotpot smell on them. She didn’t pull up the zipper of her jacket, merely wrapping herself firmly with the jacket with both hands.

Hearing the sound of the heavy door curtains banging against each other, she turned around and asked Lu Jinnan, “Where’s your car?”

Lu Jinnan held onto his jacket with one arm as he pointed a finger for Bai Xiaonian.

Bai Xiaonian almost told Lu Jinnan to put on his jacket out of concern, but she swallowed the words back right before they could escape her mouth. She clearly still cared about him, yet she was stubborn and refused to show it.

She looked in the direction that Lu Jinnan was pointing and saw a familiar-looking black car with a familiar car plate. Bai Xiaonian stepped on the accumulated snow mixed with mudwater, carefully walking in that direction.

Lu Jinnan followed behind her step by step, feeling upset when looking at Bai Xiaonian’s back view.

Bai Xiaonian stood waiting next to the car. “Go get it! Present!”

Lu Jinnan whipped out his car keys and disengaged the lock. “In the back seat… Get in the car and retrieve it yourself!”

Bai Xiaonian frowned as she walked to the car door to the backseat. She then pulled it open with familiarity and reached into it…

The smell of cigarettes in the car choked her senses. Bai Xiaonian frowned, wondering how many cigarettes Lu Jinnan had smoked, mumbling, “How much did you smoke!”

There was a small package in the backseat. Bai Xiaonian couldn’t reach it from outside the car, so she sat inside to try and retrieve the paper bag. Lu Jinnan also squeezed in.

Bai Xiaonian was forced to shift inside a little. She then heard the sound of the car door closing and was caught off guard when Lu Jinnan suddenly grabbed her slender wrist. Before she could react, she was pounced upon and fell back onto the genuine leather seats.

Before she could gasp in surprise, Bai Xiaonian was kissed. It was the typical Lu Jinnan-style hot kiss—devoid of technique, simply barging his way into Bai Xiaonian’s mouth and plundering her with a wild ferociousness.

Bai Xiaonian’s desire was stirred from the kiss, and this desire was defeating her rational senses. She clearly knew that if they were to continue, they might just do something not-so-good in the car in broad daylight, yet she couldn’t make herself bite Lu Jinnan’s tongue. Her rational senses were obviously overwhelmed by her desire.

Sensing Lu Jinnan’s large hand naughtily unbuttoning her shirt, Bai Xiaonian broke free of his lips and pushed against his chest. “Lu Jinnan, is your madness acting up?”

“Yes, I’ve gone crazy! Gone crazy from missing you!” Lu Jinnan bit Bai Xiaonian on her fair and slim neck but didn’t advance to the next step, merely embracing her tightly. “You can go to America if you want to. We’ll only be separated by a Pacific Ocean. When I miss you, I’ll simply fly over there to look for you! Or I can leave my work here and tell Old Fu that I’ll take care of things in America…”

For some reason, Bai Xiaonian’s heart melted when she heard what Lu Jinnan said.

For someone as proud as Lu Jinnan, who maintained his stubborn and aggressive attitude even in bedroom affairs, was this him lowering his stance before her?

Perhaps Bai Xiaonian had never imagined there would be a day where the manly man Lu Jinnan would say something like this, so her expression was a little dull.

“Bai Xiaonian! Did you hear what I just said?”

Unhappy with the way Bai Xiaonian seemed to be in a daze, Lu Jinnan frowned. With the man’s heavy body upon her, Bai Xiaonian felt like she couldn’t breathe. With furrowed brows, she pushed against Lu Jinnan, feeling like the atmosphere had changed. “Get up!”

Bai Xiaonian’s attitude was firm, but Lu Jinnan remained unmoving. “If I get up, I’ll have no wife!”

Watching the way Lu Jinnan was frowning, Bai Xiaonian finally couldn’t resist laughing out loud. The aggrievedness she had been feeling over this period seemed to be released, flying out all at once. Bai Xiaonian remembered every bit of it. With the aggrieved feelings stirring her heart, her nose starting to sting…

She frowned and said, “Get up first!”

Lu Jinnan gazed at Bai Xiaonian with his deep and black eyes. He lowered his head and sort of touched his nose against hers, their breathing now intertwined. This, for some reason, stirred up the desire in their bodies.

“Call Lin Nuan and tell her that we’re going to the condominium, okay? En?” Lu Jinnan’s thin lips grazed against Bai Xiaonian’s rosy ones as he spoke. He was trying his best to hold back the urge to kiss Bai Xiaonian.

He feared that one kiss could lead to him losing all control and taking Bai Xiaonian right then and there in the car.

“Who wants to go to the condo with you? You know nothing, yet you forced your way through it all! I really wish I were You Nainai and could beat you into a serious cripple!”

Bai Xiaonian’s voice sounded heavily muffled.

Bai Xiaonian had a great deal of aggrievedness in her heart. Even then, she didn’t want to tell Lu Jinnan…

Back then, she had passionately loved Lu Jinbei, and later, she was entangled in this messy affair with Lu Jinnan. She had plenty of suitors, but only the Lu brothers had managed to barge their way into her heart, even hurting her so!
