Just on the way back to the manor alone, Fu Qingquan had received several directors’ calls asking about Fu Tianci!

Fu Qingquan had his eyes widened in disbelief at what he just heard. The veins on his temples were popping so violently that everyone could see as he glared at the badly beaten yet stubborn and angry-looking Fu Tianci.

“Stop talking, Tianci! Shut up!” Fu Tianci’s mother frantically rushed over to cover his mouth.

But Fu Tianci didn’t appreciate this gesture at all, declaring as he swiped his mother’s hand away, “I don’t want your Kaide Corporation! I don’t want to fight with Fu Huai’an at all! I am that hopeless! I’ll either be a good-for-nothing affluent second-generation Fu Tianci, or the Lu Tianyu who is free to pursue what he loves to do! The bright lighting from the interior enhanced the quietness and deepness in Fu Huai’an’s eyes; there wasn’t a hint of gloating, only seriousness and calmness before Fu Huai’an looked away from the crowd of servants.

Secretary Song nervously followed Fu Huai’an.

Once inside the house, Fu Huai’an stepped on shards from the broken crystal…

The living room looked like a war had just swept it.

Fu Huai’an moved his feet away and looked at the shattered crystal bits. He could tell it was from a goblet from the handle.

Actually, things weren’t as exaggerated as Secretary Song had made them out to be; although Fu Qingquan was indeed infuriated and beat Fu Tianci up… it was mostly the items in the house that suffered the brunt of his anger.

At least from what Fu Huai’an could tell, although the corner of Fu Tianci’s lips was torn and bleeding, he looked somewhat fine overall; otherwise, he wouldn’t have had the mental energy to shout at Fu Qingquan.

Fu Qingquan swallowed when he saw Fu Huai’an, trying to maintain a calm and high-and-mighty attitude, asking in a cold voice, “Why are you here?”

Fu Tianci scrambled to his feet and ran towards Fu Huai’an as if he were his salvation.

“Tianci!” Fu Tianci’s mother shouted Fu Tianci’s name in a shrill voice.

“I’m not spewing nonsense!” Fu Tianci pointed a finger at Fu Qingquan. “That old man has no plans to hand the Kaide Corporation over to you.
