The clock on the wall showed it was nearly 1:00 p.m. already. Lin Nuan said to Tuan Tuan, “Wash your hands and get ready to eat…”

“Alright!” Tuan Tuan propped his hands against the sofa and jumped off. He put on his cartoon shoes and ran towards the toilet.

Lin Nuan played along as she half-kneeled on the sofa, one hand holding the poetry book. She kept her other hand on the sofa as Fu Huai’an grasped it and looked up at him. Seeing his straight, white collar and the sexy curvature of his neck, she could feel her heart beating faster.

He cupped the back of her head with his hand, his long, neat fingers disappearing into her ponytail as the two of them drew even closer…

Fu Huai’an’s intense male scent enveloped Lin Nuan. His warm breath swept over the tip of her nose, and it tingled slightly.

He gazed towards her with his deep eyes and moved even closer.

Her eyelashes began to tremble.

Lin Nuan felt even more nervous since Tuan Tuan was in the house. Her doe-like watery eyes were fixed on Fu Huai’an’s as her elegant neck flushed together with her ears.

He lowered his head as their faces drew closer…

The tip of Fu Huai’an’s nose gently tapped hers. She felt so nervous her stomach ached, and she lost control of her breath.
