The way it looked at Lin Nuan was the exact way a host looked at its guest. It was as if it were saying, “I came to this home first, so I’m the one in charge.” It was completely different from how it was clumsy and ready to run away in front of Fu Huai’an.

Lin Nuan smiled and sat beside Tuan Tuan, letting him grab her finger.

The chubby cat jumped onto the sofa arm and curled its body up, laying down leisurely.

Tuan Tuan had a good sleep holding onto Lin Nuan’s finger. Even when Auntie Li mentioned that lunch was ready before leaving, Tuan Tuan simply rolled over and revealed his chubby tummy. He didn’t even wake up.

Lin Nuan heard the door open and looked up from her phone. Fu Huai’an entered the room. Apparently, he had changed his clothes from his suit into a navy blue sweater with his shirt collar showing, a pair of grey leisure pants, and black shoes. His sleeves were rolled back, showing his strong arms as his right hand held onto a book. He radiated not only a grounded, mature aura, but also a clean, sophisticated energy.

Fu Huai’an looked towards Lin Nuan as he entered the room with his deep gaze. He smiled as he saw Tuan Tuan sleeping right next to her.

The cat flicked its ears and walked towards the door, looking as if it were going to escape any second. Once it saw it was Fu Huai’an, it immediately jumped off the couch and returned to its cage obediently.

Tuan Tuan seemed to instinctively sense it was him. When Fu Huai’an was changing his shoes, he woke up slowly and rubbed his eyes, rolled over, and got up.

“You’re awake…” Lin Nuan picked up the blanket that fell on the floor and held his arm, afraid he’d fall off accidentally since he wasn’t fully awake.

As he saw Lin Nuan besides him, he stopped himself from calling out “Papa” as he sat right next to her and held onto her arm with his chubby hand. He rubbed his face against her and looked up at her, calling out, “Mama!”

Tuan Tuan was especially happy when he saw Lin Nuan right after he woke up. He revealed a huge smile before completely opening his eyes.

“Yes!” Lin Nuan nodded.
