Monster Pet Evolution Chapter 397 The Thing on the Hill of the Tian Qing Plateau

“If I were to use this method on Stripey and the rest, would they be able to raise their levels faster?” Gao Peng’s eyes brightened, as he had been worrying about the slow level-up pace of his familiars.

The Desolate Frost Lion shook its head. “This method will not work on them. This is only for rapid recovery of their strength, because mine was once at the Imperial level, just like water flowing through a canal. Although the water inside was dried up, after all, the passage was still wide, and all I needed was water.” The Desolate Frost Lion was explaining seriously, stretching both of its claws while drawing its thoughts virtually in the air.

“I have a foundation in me. Therefore, I’m able to absorb all kinds of treasures containing frost power and then stimulate my bloodline to awaken consistently and restore my power.”

Gao Peng nodded. He was trying to understand better. “So, what you mean is that they are now like a canal filled with water. If an extra force was added, it would only hurt them. If they wanted to increase the volume, they could only slowly open up the canal to expand.”

“This is exactly what I’m trying to say.” The Desolate Frost Lion lifted its head arrogantly. “Soon, I’ll become stronger and stronger! Eventually, I’ll become your strongest familiar!” That left regret in Gao Peng’s mind.

Gao Peng shook his head with guilt. He was trying to use this method to quickly increase the strength of Da Zi and others. However, this method could no longer work anymore.

Gao Peng continued his journey to the west. The Tian Qing Plateau gave Gao Peng a unique feeling whenever it came into sight. That feeling was unclear, and Gao Peng had no idea where this strange feeling came from.

Under the blue sky with white clouds over a vast green field and a river, it would leave them nowhere to hide if they were to encounter any dangerous situation.

“Desolate Frost Lion, do you feel like something is wrong?” Gao Peng asked the Desolate Frost Lion.

The Desolate Frost Lion looked up inexplicably. “I don’t know either!”

Da Zi was excited after hearing its words. “My chance has finally come! Opportunity is for the prepared centipede. I’ve studied so hard and worked just for this moment to prove myself. I’ll definitely be Gao Peng’s favorite familiar!”

“I know! I know!” said Da Zi, quickly crawling in front of Gao Peng.

“You know what the reason is for that?” Gao Peng doubted it.

“It’s definitely because you’re too weak!” Da Zi directly pointed out Gao Peng’s weakness while feeling satisfied.

Gao Peng was blank.

“It’s because you have anemia and therefore, you will have altitude sickness when you are anywhere near the plateau! Yes, it’s definitely because of this!” Da Zi was analyzing rationally. Its two small feet were crossed together, and its small eyes were showing seriousness.

“Am I supposed to praise you for your intelligence?” Gao Peng smiled.

“There’s no need for that.” Da Zi was trying to stay serious, but it couldn’t cover the happiness on its face.

“Just like me more in the future and I’ll be fine with it.” Da Zi went back to its nest after finishing its words.

Flamy, who was standing with one leg on the roof, saw this scene and felt that something had gone wrong. Da Zi was playing a fool because its actions had offended Gao Peng. How could it tell the truth?! Gao Peng was a narrow-minded guy, and this would definitely create an advantage for the little lion in grabbing the opportunity.

“Gao Peng, there seems to be something underneath the ground.” Stripey suddenly said, and they stopped moving.

“There’s something there underneath the ground?” Gao Peng was stunned, then looked at the broad field under his feet.

“What is it?” Gao Peng frowned and became alert.

Anything other than being ambushed would be fine for them. However, the problem was that Stripey was still in special condition. Once the damage it received exceeded a certain limit, it would return back to its real state.

There were only three guise fruits left on hand. They had to cherish the opportunities left and never let them go.

“It looks like a snake… Hmm… More like a white dragon.” Stripey thought for a few seconds and finally said it affirmatively.

White dragon?!

Gao Peng exhausted his mind thinking about what kind of monster it could be. According to what he could recall, there were very few monsters with a body size and appearance similar to a white dragon, because there was only one monster that could have the characteristics of a white dragon, and that could only be the Legendary Huaxia Dragon!

Although there were some differences in details, such as three claws and a pair of antlers instead of horns, it would more or less contain the dragon bloodline, regardless of characteristics, if the creature was similar to the white dragon.

There was a hidden dragon in the depths of the Tian Qing Plateau.

However, Gao Peng was wondering if this dragon noticed them or not. After all, this dragon didn’t appear from the depths of the ground, but it was hidden underneath them. It didn’t make any response when Gao Peng and the rest were walking above it.

This journey had allowed Gao Peng to meet the “River God” of the Red Sand River, and then encounter the metal-eating beast, and eventually, at the Tian Qing plateau, he had encountered a dragon species which was in a deep sleep.

Gao Peng didn’t know whether he was lucky or not…

“This is completely normal. According to what you said, your world is currently in the early stages of evolution. This is the fastest moment to evolve. Your world isn’t simple. It must have given birth to many powerful lives before, but no one knew the reason why it was muted.”

“You have to know; the stronger the culture of a world, the more horrible the rebound that it gives out after being repressed for so many years. I have encountered a great opportunity, and I have to achieve Overlord level in your world or even a higher level,” said the Desolate Frost Lion.

“However, the metal-eating beast called “Youxi” in the base city of Chuan Fu was really strong. If I was to exclude my grandpa’s familiars and mine, this metal-eating beast would be the strongest beast I’ve ever seen.”

“Shameless.” The Desolate Frost Lion turned its eyes, as this guy was being arrogant.

Gao Peng, who was puzzled, looked at the lion the size of two palms and asked, “What makes me feel strange was… why does your size still remain small when you’ve already entered the Lord level?”

“A little body often harbors a great soul,” the Desolate Frost Lion answered calmly.

The White Steel Bladed monster that was crouching beside them gave them a gratifying look.

In the middle of their conversation, Gao Peng came to the foot of Tian Zhu mountain with his familiars.

The mountain towered into the clouds, and its ridges formed a strip of desolate and quaint lines. The clouds and the ocean were below the mountain. The mountain was so huge that it looked like it was holding up the world.

“Could this mountain make it on the top ten list of your Black Fog World?” Gao Peng asked the lion curiously.

The Desolate Frost Lion said, “Do you have any misunderstandings about the Black Fog World?”

“This mountain would definitely make it to the top three in our Black Fog World.” The Desolate Frost Lion sighed. “I didn’t expect your planet to have such spectacular mountains.”

Tian Zhu mountain had grown wildly and become the world’s tallest mountain after the disaster. According to one of the Lord-level trainers who did the measurement himself, this mountain was at least 131,000 feet high.

“Do you think there’s a treasure that could rapidly increase your strength?” Gao Peng was excited and looking forward to it.

Gao Peng had a feeling that the unknown world was waiting for him to explore it, although he had already brought so many Lord-level familiars and also Stripey, which was at King-level.
