Jiang Fei kept quiet as he brainstormed for ways to save him.

“Where is the Holy Grail?” Ariel asked.

Franco grunted as he sensed that Ariel was only a Level 3 Metahuman. At first glance, he would have ignored her but since she was with his savior, he ought to give her a chance.

“The Holy Grail should be in the care of Her Highness, the Countess. However, I do not know where is she nor where is the Holy Grail.”

“How many Counts do you have in the bund?” Jiang Fei asked. There were too many things that he did not know about the Vampire Bund.

“Not Counts. The Vampire Bund is always led by two leaders. The Count and Countess. Count Dracula is gone. Only Countess Beatrice survived and she is out for revenge.”

“Such a shame… A Level 5 Metahuman. Here I thought that those who reigned in that realm were untouchable. Looks like even they would be treated as only mortal with Godblade,” said Jiang Fei. He had truly believed that Level 5 Metahuman would be so strong that they could not be killed. It seemed that when the war truly erupted, they would become vulnerable to those who wield the Godblade.

Now, Jiang Fei understood the reason why the Vampire Bund was being targeted. The question in his mind was whether or not he should interfere. The highest priority was to find all of Braveheart’s parts scattered across the world. The problem with this “quest” was time and effort. Sure, he would be able to collect all the separated parts of the ship with time and effort but how long would it take? It could be an hour if he was lucky enough. It could even be 10 years if he was unlucky. Perhaps, he could not even find all the parts of the ship for the rest of his life! It was truly a troublesome quest. On the other hand, if he were to stop the Mutants from obtaining the Holy Grail, he might delay or even put a stop on the Mutant’s plan for war.

On the other hand, he had some thoughts about this matter. Even if he participated in defending the Vampires, he might not be able to stop the Mutants from getting the Holy Grail. If that happened, it would be a complete waste of time and effort. Time and effort that he could have used to search for Braveheart.

“Hmm… Go. Go and tell the others in your Bund. If living is what the Bund wants, ask them to escape to China! Have the Countess evacuate every single Vampire in the Bund there. Don’t forget about the Holy Grail as well.”

Ariel was there. Jiang Fei had no reason to doubt the man since Ariel could tell if he was lying. Since he was telling the truth, Jiang Fei understood that the Vampire Bund had no place in the world but China. The other nations might take them in but the Mutants would surely claw their way in. Jiang Fei was giving them the last route to survival. If the Bund moved into China, Jiang Fei could inform the alliance to give them shelter and protection. If the Holy Grail is in China, it would be troublesome for the Mutants to get their hands on the First Vampire’s blood.

It was a genius way to buy him extra time to search for Braveheart while giving the Vampire Bund support to survive, and also slowing down the Mutant’s progress.

“Thank you! Thank you very much!” cried Franco as he knocked his head to the ice to show his appreciation. He initially thought that Jiang Fei would be extremely benevolent to let him walk free. Little did he know that Jiang Fei had also provided him and his kind a means to survive. Judging from the way he talked, Franco knew that Jiang Fei a respected man in the alliance. His words were gold!

“Right, let us not waste any of our time. I’m sure the others in the Bund would like to recuperate in peace,” said Jiang Fei.

“Thank you very much! May I know the name of the great savior? I would only wish to let the Vampire Bund know who they owe their lives to!” said Franco from the bottom of his heart. If they were given shelter in China, they would surely be saved from extinction. Because as of right now, no one but the alliance could fight the Mutants!

“Jiang Fei.”

“It is you! The one and only!” cried Franco as he gasped. That name had been circling around the circle of Metahumans and spread as fast as wildfire. No one knew who he really was but a man from China. That day, in the cold icy tundra, not only did he witness the power of Jiang Fei, but was also saved by him!

“Sheesh. Easy with the d*mn respects. Go now. Don’t waste my time! You must make haste if you want to save the Vampire’s Bund!” said Jiang Fei.

“Thank you! Thank you very much!” Franco went off with a gust of wind.

After knowing Jiang Fei’s identity, Franco was relieved and happy. He was saved by the legendary man, famed amongst all of the Metahuman! A powerful Level 4 fighter with the support of two Level 5 masters! One of them was even the infamous Zhuge Shanzhen! A man of mystery, greater than the universe itself! With someone like that protecting the Vampire Bund, their survivability would only be ensured! He must make haste to his kind to tell the good news!

After Franco left, Jiang Fei sighed heavily at how Franco reacted to his word. Jiang Fei had merely provided a route to safety, not safety itself! The Mutants, Church, and the Lycanthropes would still take them down! It would be hard for them to move halfway across the world to reach China safely.

That was why Jiang Fei had sighed. He did not have much hope for Franco and his bund to reach China safely. It was a bet. If the Holy Grail could be safely transported into China, the Mutants would be slowed down. On the other hand, if the Mutants got their hands on the Holy Grail, Jiang Fei would not be losing much either. To him, time was the most precious resource.

“Well… That was something else… Let’s continue our search!” said Jiang Fei as he held Ariel’s tiny hands in his own and got on the Giant Sword before flying around again.

Although Jiang Fei had been very diligent in finding Braveheart’s parts, Lady Luck was perhaps with someone else that day as he failed to find anything in the next few hours. When night time came, Jiang Fei had Ariel and 0541 to stand on guard while he logged into the game.

Since he had conquered Gold Watercity, Jiang Fei had no reason to stay there anymore. He teleported back to the City of Sinners to finish the PvP battles and returned to Gold Watercity after.

By the time he returned, Merfolk reinforcements had arrived and they were ready to strike hard.

The Hammerhead army that Jiang Fei led was replenished with 40,000 extras, making his army expanding from 50,000 to 90,000 soldiers! His army’s combat forces were almost doubled. The Merfolk themselves participated in the war this time. Together, they attacked the Naga soldiers that kept on coming. Jiang Fei did not want to end the war too early and kept on provided them a means to retreat and replenish their morale and numbers. His reason was simple, he wanted to kill more Naga soldiers to further boost the ring!

For the next few days, Jiang Fei searched for Braveheart’s parts during the day and played the game at night. After so many nights, Jiang Fei had already killed more Nagas than the bowls of rice that he had ever eaten. The Holy tier ring in his fingers gained an explosive attribute boost.
