MMORPG: The Almighty Ring Chapter 180 – Private Order

*Buzzes*

Just as Jiang Fei was about to go hunting with old man Hai, a buzzing sound could be heard from afar.

A small black dot had appeared in the sky. As it rapidly grew in size, Jiang Fei quickly recognized it as a military helicopter, similar to the one Han Tianyu had picked him up with.

Not long after, the helicopter landed on an empty plot in the little village.

“This guy doesn’t show up for anything. Something bad must have happened!”

Jiang Fei heard old man Hai mumble. He then followed him towards the helicopter.

*Taps*

As soon as the helicopter landed, Han Tianyu jumped out of it.

Han Tianyu nodded at Jiang Fei in acknowledgment. However, he did not speak. Instead, he turned to old man Hai. “Old Hai, where are Old Luo and Old Yang?”

“They were training their disciples in the forest. Since you have come, they should be here soon!” said old man Hai.

“Great!”

Han Tianyu nodded as he turned his gaze towards a far distance in the woods.

Not long after, several figures shot through the air. The two old men in the front were not far behind old man Hai himself. Four middle-aged men were slightly further behind them, while the remaining youths were far behind.

“Old Hai, Old Luo, and Old Yang, we must talk. Inside!”

Han Tianyu nodded as he turned around and entered the largest of the stone houses.

Apart from Han Tianyu and the three old men, no one else had followed. Jiang Fei decided that it was rational to remain outside as well. Clearly, the subject matter of their discussion was highly secretive. If Han Tianyu wanted to let Jiang Fei in on it, he would explain later. Otherwise, it was truly none of his business!

“Young fellow, did old Hai bring you here?”

A middle-aged man walked over. He seemed to be in his forties and had a very square face. He looked extremely hard-boiled, with a jawbone that seemed to be made of steel and an intimidating presence. He seemed to hold some authority over most of the crowd.

“That’s right. My name is Jiang Fei. Who are you?” asked Jiang Fei.

“I am Luo Zhan.” Answered the middle-aged man.

“I bid you well.”

Jiang Fei nodded, uncertain why he had come forward.

“Are you Old Hai’s disciple?” asked Luo Zhan.

“No. However, Old Hai gave me some pointers,” answered Jiang Fei.

“I see. I thought that we had a new disciple amongst us!” said Luo Zhan as he laughed. At the same time, the teenagers behind him sighed in relief.

After all, they were either Luo Zhan or disciples of Luo Zhan’s younger brother. If Jiang Fei was Old Hai’s disciple, these seventeen-year-old kids would have to address this junior as their uncle. No one would be willing to do such a thing! Therefore, when they heard that Jiang Fei was not Old Hai’s disciple, they all sighed in relief.

As both parties were not well acquainted, and Jiang Fei was not Old Hai’s disciple, there was no common ground between them. Therefore, these people soon went off, and Jiang Fei was left alone again.

About half an hour later, the door to the house of stone opened. Han Tianyu and the three old men walked out.

“No way in hell am I taking this lying down, those Japs have gone too far. They’re asking for it!” yelled the old man in a green shirt whom Han Tianyu referred to as Old Yang.

“That’s it. Leave this to us!”

Old Luo in blue patted Han Tianyu on his shoulder.

“Sigh! Such a bummer!” said old man Hai, shaking his head. He walked over to Jiang Fei and said, “It seems like I do not have time to wait for your master. Don’t forget to tell him about this after you have returned. When there is an opportunity, I would still like to exchange pointers with him!”

“Alright!”

Jiang Fei nodded begrudgingly. Although it was only a brief exchange, Jiang Fei could guess that the Japanese must have caused some trouble. That was why Han Tianyu had sought help from the martial arts experts in Hua Xia. Consequently, old man Hai had no time to fight against Jiang Fei’s made-up master and was now left without a choice but to release him.

“Ah Fei, follow me. I will send you home!”

Han Tianyu did not bother staying for long. He immediately called Jiang Fei to follow him up the helicopter.

*Buzzes*

As the engines roared, the helicopter took off and headed towards the city.

“Brother Yu, what happened?” asked Jiang Fei curiously as they settled down in the helicopter.

“Best not ask anything. It’s not good for your health!”

Han Tianyu shook his head. He clearly did not want Jiang Fei to be involved in the matter.

“I understand!”

Jiang Fei nodded. He knew his place and, indeed, there was no reason for him to push further. Sometimes, knowing more would only result in a quicker death!

“Oh yeah, could you create another batch of those life-saving potions?” asked Han Tianyu, his brows furrowed.

“What’s the matter? Have you finished the previous batch?” asked Jiang Fei.

“No, that batch has already been distributed to the soldiers overseas. The effects were fantastic. In the two most recent clashes, not only did we suffer zero casualties, we did not even have any wounded. Commander Chen had asked me to thank you on his and his front-liners’ behalf!” said Han Tianyu.

“Then, what are the potions for this time?” asked Jiang Fei.

“This is a private order from myself. I will buy each bottle for 50,000 dollars. I’ll need around three thousand bottles!” said Han Tianyu.

“You want them? And didn’t we agree on 1,000 dollars for each bottle?” asked Jiang Fei.

“Yes, I want them!”

Han Tianyu nodded before explaining. “You know that our Manda Group is highly active in battle. Recently, I have set my eyes on a market in Northern Africa. However, that is where the Japanese have their forces concentrated. To expand my market, I decided to send in Manda Group’s best and rid the land of those Japs. But I did not expect the Japanese to concentrate all their power in that area. They put up a fierce resistance that resulted in severe losses. Therefore, I have decided to arm the Third Army with your potions!”

Han Tianyu did not mention that his motive of snatching the Japanese’s business was to avenge Jiang Fei. He had only said he was doing this to fight for the market.

“Alright! You’ll have them in three days. However, the price remains the same. 1,000 dollars a bottle!” said Jiang Fei.

“No way! That was the military’s offer. Due to limitations in budget, the military could only give so much. However, we are a PMC, and we always take pride in cutting fair deals for others. 50,000 dollars a bottle is already a bargain. If only one bottle was released one at a time to the public, people would even bid for them with 1,000,000! Also, think of what I stand to gain once I claim this market! Please don’t argue with me on this!”

Han Tianyu shook his head.

“Alright, fine! Alright!”

Jiang Fei finally nodded. He knew that Han Tianyu was a tycoon who did not lack money. He had no reason to bargain with him. Just as Han Tianyu had said, these potions saved lives, and life was priceless!

Therefore, he would take as much as Han Tianyu was willing to give. After all, the tycoon was loaded. Rather than wasting his efforts in-game, he could save the money and upgrade his mysterious ring!
