Due to Onyxia’s blinding speed, Flying Tiger King was unable to gain the upper hand during the early phase and was constantly left in the dust. It was an advantageous scenario for Li Yi.

However, as time went on, the situation began to change as the competition required players to follow Flying Tiger· Void Shredder, and not overtake him. Otherwise, with the rapid speed that Onyxia was flying at, all Li Yi had to do was to concentrate on flying and victory would be his for the taking.

Flying Tiger· Void Shredder slowly caught up to Li Yi. However, the moment he caught up; he did not attack Li Yi. Instead, he shot upwards, made a hard turn, and spurred towards another direction.

Li Yi was forced to follow him. Otherwise, once a fixed amount of time had passed, the system would automatically fail him.

“Give chase!”

“Mortal, do not order me! The mighty black dragon does not require your commands!”

Although Li Yi had completely subjugated Onyxia, her attitude towards him did not change much. She still did not respect Li Yi.

“I’ll show you the might of mortals if you lose this match!”

Onyxia accelerated and gave chase. It was at this moment that Flying Tiger· Void Shredder decided to attack.

Flying Tiger King’s sudden shift in directions was becoming more and more aggressive. It would suddenly ascend and suddenly descend, and at times, it would abruptly jerk to the left or right. Combining that with Flying Tiger· Void Shredder’s relentless attacks, Onyxia was quickly finding it hard to catch up.

Onyxia had just caught up to Flying Tiger· Void Shredder when Flying Tiger King gave a howl of rage. Its body warped into a white ray of light and vanished the next instant.

It was Flying Tiger King’s signature move, Mighty Tiger Impact, a godly skill which doubled its flight speed!

“Head to the left!” Li Yi shouted.

Onyxia hesitated for a moment, but she still followed Li Yi’s command and flew towards the west. After ten or so seconds later, they spotted Flying Tiger King.

They really did fly to the left. Li Yi’s intuition had been correct!

Halfway through the competition, Flying Tiger · Void Shredder started to ramp up the difficulty. He constantly switched shooting styles and activated Flying Tiger King’s special skill every now and then, which instantly left Li Yi in the dust. Fortunately, Li Yi’s intuition was very accurate, and he had never been wrong. Otherwise, he would have lost long ago.

Naturally, Onyxia’s flying SPD had come into play as well. The black dragon chick was enraged, and her flying SPD had risen to 400%. Had it not been for her breakneck speed, it was unlikely that she would catch up to Flying Tiger King.

As the competition approached its final 30 seconds, Li Yi poured in all his focus to the competition.

Others did not understand, but not him. The final 30 seconds of the competition was actually the most crucial period.

With a white flash, Flying Tiger King accelerated with Mighty Tiger Impact, and Li Yi quickly issued his order. “Head left, then right, then left again, and then reverse.”

During the last 30 seconds, Flying Tiger King would unleash a series of Mighty Tiger Impacts to switch directions. It did not take much to lose the competition, as failure to catch up to two of the impacts was all it took to count as a loss.

There was zero room for error, and one wrong call would result in the immediate loss of the competition.

Thankfully, Onyxia did not throw any tantrum and had followed Li Yi’s instruction to the letter. She flew to the left, then right, then left again, and then backward. After all those stunts, she managed to catch up to Flying Tiger King.

Flying Tiger King slowly crossed the finish line and nodded his head to Li Yi in praise.

The highest challenge grade possible was SSS, and the reason why Flying Tiger · Void Shredder had said so was that Li Yi had only attained SS.

After completing all of Soaring Aspiration’s tests, Li Yi could challenge any flight instructor of his choosing to update his records. However, that no longer interested him.

After all, he knew that challenging them again would not yield much of an improvement because of Onyxia’s instability. He could attain good results when she was obedient, but if she decided to disobey him, she would not hesitate to fly west even though Li Yi told her to fly east.

He would need to wait until they managed to come to an agreement before challenging the instructors again.

Amber Sword Heart, Night Moon, and the rest of the spectators had watched the whole process from the beginning to the end. There were plenty of them who had recorded the process as well and had uploaded the video to the official page as well.

It was truly a spectacular battle. Legendary against Legendary, the flying competition was bound to be recorded in the books.

Onyxia gradually descended onto the ground.

The clingy mogu cat was back again. It was dizzy from catching up, but thankfully, it was tenacious. Using its keen sense of smell, it had located Li Yi once again.

The area below was a campsite, and within it, plenty of NPC businessmen carried out their activities. They provided aid and assistance to traveling players.

The two camps had already secured victory, and as of that moment, the King of Souls was the only threat left that had yet to be conquered.

Li Yi dismissed Onyxia, kept away his bow and walked into the camp.

Though Li Yi had already received Little Elf from the Magical Realm’s dungeon progress knowledge, there were limits on how much two players could experience. The only way to overcome this limit is to discuss his game experience with other players so that he could advance even further.

There were many tents within the campsite, and players from all three Major Continents were congregated there. Though there were tussles every once in a while, as a whole, the place was quite harmonious, as PKs were forbidden…

Li Yi was not lacking money, and as such, the only requirement for his trade was an exchange of dungeon experience with someone who had the same dungeon progress.
