MMO: Pierce Heaven Til’ It Breaks 171 Killing a Camp Hero

The Western Continent army was at the verge of being perished. The stronger NPCs of Shattered Frost City together with the players who rushed over now had complete control over the situation.

A blue robe fluttered in the wind, followed by Scumbag Wang’s howling. Charge! A direct hit on Windcloud Overlord who had only 30 HP left. The fatal Heavy Blow had Windcloud Overlord drop dead.

System Notification: [Eastern Continent player, Wang’er has successfully killed Western Continent Windcloud Clan’s clan leader, Windcloud Overlord!]

“Arrogant c*nt!”

Scumbag Wang held an axe and pointed at Windcloud Overlord’s corpse haughtily. His hundred over subordinates immediately turned their focus on him, snapping pictures away.

“Leader Scum, you’re so f*ckin’ cool!” Lonely Perfume was teary-eyed as he took pictures.

“Too cool! Who but me in King of Pantheon can take down Windcloud Overlord with one shot? Ah no, who else if not Leader Scum?”

The over hundred subordinates exchanged words excitedly, boot-licking Scumbag Wang. As this was going on, a serene black hole appeared above Scumbag Wang. This was the Genocidal Black Ray, a Black Magic by the Dark Wizard enemy.

The channeling time of Dark Wizards’ skills tend to be lengthy but once it was unleashed, its impact was explosively powerful.

“Leader Scum, get out of the way!” A sharp-eyed subordinate caught glimpse of the glistening black hole and immediately gave a warning.

“What?” Scumbag Wang lifted his head and appalled an ‘Oh’ reaction. Yet he remained where he was and continued posing for the cameras.

“Bang!”

The Genocidal Black Ray defused and a grand -3838 emerged above Scumbag wang’s head. He immediately collapsed.

“Remember, even at the risk of death, I’d rather maintain my glorious image,” Scumbag Wang lay on the ground as he cautioned his subordinates.

“Oh, mighty Leader Scum!” The eyes of his hundred subordinates were brimming with tears as they started to applaud.

“Leader Scum, the video of your extremely dashing single-assault on Windcloud Overlord has been posted on the web,” Lonely Perfume reported to Scumbag wang with enthusiasm.

“Great, well done. What about the part where I was f*ck*d by that black hole?”

“F*ck*ed by the black hole? What? I didn’t see anything?” Lonely Perfume scratched his head while exchanging words with Scumbag Wang’s body.

Scumbag Wang said gleefully, “You have very high IQ, I am very satisfied. Keep up the good work and I’ll promote you to be Huashan Guild’s fourth Deputy Guild Master.”

“Thank you, Leader Scum!”

“We’re here!”

Li Yi lifted his arm, signaling Little Drunk Cat Elites to hold their horses.

The Land of Light where Holy Light was at the forefront.

This was the cradle of the Western Continent’s Holy Light energy. There were no wild monsters here but a worn-down thatched hut. A legendary NPC lived there. Li Yi’s target was her.

“Stranger, what’s your business here?”

A woman in white bearing a staff walked out of the thatched hut. She walked towards Li Yi and his party.

Above her head bore the name Holy Light Envoy, Elenor. The font was in Neutral yellow. This meant that she would not proactively attack a player.

“Get ready!” Li Yi yelled at the Main Legion Elites channel.

“Kill!”

This NPC was a rare beauty but in order to take down Western Continent camp players, Li Yi could only choose to assault her.

This beautiful NPC was the teacher of Archbishop Karlinthor, the legendary hero of the Western Continent who once gifted Li Yi three Holy Light Talismans.

The HP on Holy Light Envoy, Elenor, was displayed as question mark symbols. Similar to Augustus, players were unable to catch glimpse of her level. Of course, her ability was to be revered, seeing her identity as the Western Continent’s legendary hero. There were even players who claimed that she would stand as the final winner in a PK battle between Dragon Rider Augustus and her.

Under normal circumstances, no matter the number of players partied, it was hard to kill Elenor but it was a different story under abnormal circumstances.

Augustus split open the Abyssal Canyon Crevice with one slash and unintentionally opened up a space rift. Large amounts of alien monsters surged out of the space rift. It was a dire calamity and Augustus could only continue slaughtering yet he could not put a stop to the expansion of the rift. It was then Holy Light Envoy, Elenor appeared. With the almighty Force of Holy Light, she restored the rift and has since been responsible for this task.

The constant restoration of the space rift has impaired Elenor’s capabilities. The majority of the time, she was in a weak state. She was not even at one percent of the strength when she was at her peak, making her the weakest Camp Hero.

“Stranger, what are you doing!”

Elenor wielded her staff to counter the attacks. Strikes and strikes of Holy Light pierced cuts on the members of the Elite squad, dealing -500 damage each time.

“Take your potions and go full force!”

Although Elenor was currently in a weak state, she was still Western Continent’s legendary hero. If she was not killed within an allotted time frame, she would unleash a powerful space-time magic that would crush all enemies on site in foreign space.

They only had ten minutes and they needed to give it their all.

Li Yi’s explosive damage and Little Drunk Cat Elites’ heavy attacks quickly took down Elenor. This legendary hero was nagging all the way to her death, “Stranger, what do you want?”

Elenor did not belong to any monster genre so beating her would not result in any drops.

System’s spamming in red fonts began.

All party members received a decrease on Church of Light’s Reputation Value.

“To Kaiser City! As long as we kill one NPC, we achieve what we came here for!”

Li Yi rode on Crimson Tiger King and led the party to the nearby Kaiser City.

Each kill of a normal enemy NPC would cause the opposing camp’s Reputation Value to drop by one point. There was a limit up to a 500 point reduction. Killing the same NPC was ineffective and such a status was refreshed once a month.

Li Yi’s motive was simple — to kill a Camp Hero and one normal NPC so the Western Continent camp’s Reputation Value would reduce to under 1,000 points!

Kaiser City was more well-known than Shattered Frost City. There were strong NPCs everywhere. If they were to play the siege strategy, even if Li Yi’s party was a multitude in number, it was impossible for them to seize the city.

But, killing just one normal NPC was an easy task.

Little Drunk Cat Elites gathered around the entrance of Kaiser City and treated a fishing NPC as a punching bag. A regular NPC only had 500,000 HP. Although they dealt quite a bit of damage, who could ward off that many people at a time?

The battle was over in less than a minute.

There went the System Notification once more.

With the Western Continent’s Reputation slump to 1,000 points, taxes increased by 50%. The people started to lose their heads. The accessory merchants escaped out of Kaiser City in an attempt to save themselves. Their whereabouts were unknown…

“Retreat!”

With his goal achieved, Li Yi withdrew his party before the stronger NPCs and Western Continents players could get to them. 

Little Drunk Cat Elites ran at the front while Li Yi took the back. To avoid pursuit, Li Yi placed Functional Dummies by the roadside as he fled to disrupt the visions of their pursuers.

Functional Dummies put out by regular Engineers looked like puppets but Li Yi, a Legendary-level Engineering Master was at a whole new level. Although his dummy dealt no damage, it looked no different from a regular player. It could be used to confuse other players.

“Mood, inform all Guild Masters to forego Shattered Frost City and move towards Abyssal Canyon Crevice so there’s no escape for them!”

Li Yi led the party to retreat while sending a message to Pretty Good Mood.

Eastern Continent’s Reputation was currently at 1,109/5,000 points. The slaughtering of regular NPCs by Windcloud Overlord and his lot has reached the 500-points limit. In order to gain more Reputation Value, they had to kill higher-level NPCs.

They could just forget about facing Eastern Continent Camp Hero, Dragon Rider Augustus. There lay only one path ahead of Windcloud Overlord, which was to kill Castellans. Each successful kill of a Castellan guaranteed a drop of 50 points on the camp’s Reputation Value. The limit was the same cap at 500 points.

A Castellan was no easy kill, equipped with their 90,000,000 HP and kick-*ss Castellan special skill. A Castellan in a state such as Archiemonde was unique in all of the Eastern Continent.

Although Windcloud Overlord and his lot’s surprise attack was a success, they were not familiar with the limit on the camp’s Reputation Value. Even if the Eastern Continent players did not correspond to their attacks, they would not manage to decrease the Eastern Continent’s Reputation Value to beneath 1,000 points.

The moment Li Yi led his party back to the Abyssal Crevice, both parties were already in a frenzied attack. Players from both camps assembled here, swearing to defend their respective honor to death.

“Blame it on Dark Wing! That despicable alt account-killing scum!” The chants of the Western Continent players remained the same.

“Go l*ck your balls! Kill him if Dark Wing killed you! What’s up with massacring everyone in the city? Trying to make a fuss out of something else? Dream on!”

Now that it concerned their own interest, the unification of the Eastern Continent players put an end to Windcloud Overlord’s strategy to drive a wedge between them.

“Eastern Continent players are trash. Dark Wing, the trash among trash!” Cussed Brother Windcloud Nine.

“You’re the trash and the trashiest of them all. Of the world’s idiots, Old Nine from Windcloud takes the cake!” Those who have good relations with Li Yi were not going to take it sitting down. They immediately scolded back.

With both camps up against each other, the Western Continent players were at the losing end.

Windcloud Overlord and his party were gathered at the edge of the Eastern Continent Crevice, all lying on their backs.

Returning was simple. As long as nobody lay hands on them, they could just rub on Return City Stone for their safe return.

Would the Eastern Continent players allow them this opportunity?

Of course not!

The Western Continent players at the opposing side would only watch as their people were tortured. Even with the existence of the cascading stairways, they could not rush over to lend a hand. They were defeated midway.

“A bunch of trash using numbers to bully. Who dares to challenge me to a one-on-one? Dark Wing, where the sh*t are you? Do you have the balls to challenge me?” Brother Windcloud Nine roared in discontentment.

“I dare! Stand up if you have balls. We’ll go one-on-one!” Unending Unmatched walked over.

“Humph! I’m talking about Dark Wing, not you!” Brother Windcloud Nine wilted once he saw it was Unending Unmatched. Both of them had PK-ed five rounds and the result remained the same — total slam dunk for Unending Unmatched.

“Bang!”

It was then, Li Yi fell from the sky on Ice Toad King, landing in front of Brother Windcloud Nine. He snickered at him, “PK with me? Alright, get up then!”
