“May I inquire upon your majesty’s name?” the armored officer asked in an extremely polite tone; even his back was curved in a bow.

“Seventh Mei Yu!” The handsome youngster calmly answered as he glanced at the officer.

Xue Ying let out a faint smile at the sound of it. He found the name strange.

Very soon, the officer was now at Xue Ying’s side.

“Dong Bo,” Xue Ying immediately spoke out.

Once all the names were recorded, the officer in his scarlet-red armored said with a grin, “You should all rest and prepare well. As soon as dawn breaks, the Starfield Selections will also start. At that point, I will begin to call out your names—as soon as you hear your name, you must go on-stage and fight.”

“Quick, quick, quick. The Starfield Selections are about to commence.”

“We must hurry.”

“Losing your life also means you will no longer have a way to fulfill your duty to the Bloodshed God Palace.” Patrol Master Guan sneered.

“That simply means there’s no point in you, Patrol Master Guan, being troubled over this matter,” the black-robed man replied, his expression as amiable as ever.

“Hmph.” After one final snort, Patrol Master Guan didn’t speak again.

Indeed, this black-robed elderly Deity was actually one of the two great personages of the Mountain Wu Star Field—the general of the defense legion.
