She turned around instinctively, and before she could see anything, her head was covered roughly by a piece of black cloth. The sudden assault made her scream for help immediately.

However, her assailant was quick and fast. Before she could get a word out, he clamped his palm over her mouth through the fabric and dragged her body out of the bathroom.

Song Qingchun knew it was a man. Probably afraid that he would be found out, he moved fast and rough; he managed to get her to stop struggling in several motions.

His hand that clamped over her mouth also pressed down on her nostrils causing her to go lightheaded from the lack of oxygen.

Her both eyes were covered by the cloth, so she could see nothing. She had no idea where the man was taking her except he was going there fast. Since the party had officially started, there was barely a soul on the second floor, and his footsteps were exceptionally sharp and loud in the empty corridor.

Through the sound of celebration that drifted up from downstairs, Song Qingchun could hear the breathing of this man coming quick and heavy, probably a sign of nervousness.

She continued to try to make some noise, but since her mouth was clamped shut, she only managed to produce incoherent, muffled noises. It was simply too soft for the party-goers to notice.

Song Qingchun didn’t know what this man was planning to do, but considering the number of ‘accidents’ that had been happening to her, her instincts told her that he most likely meant her harm.

It would have been less of a commotion if he had killed her in the bathroom, but he had chosen to drag her to the deck. There was only one reason he would do that… he was going to toss her overboard!
