As expected, along with the emcee’s voice, the crowd started stirring. Everyone had an excited expression on their faces as they took out their phones to scan the QR code on the screen.

Some of them even started teaming up on the spot as needed more people to get a full team of five. However, it was not difficult for them to form teams as everyone there were fans of the game.

As the excitement from the crowd toned down, the emcee finally continued, “Next, please welcome our second goddess onto the stage. She’s blessed with beauty and talent, the one with a sweet moving voice, Wu’er!”

The one walking up the stage was a young woman dressed in blue. She had shoulder-length hair and wore a pink hairband with a butterfly on it, giving her a cute refreshing look. Although she was not tall, she had a baby face that made her look adorable.

“Hello everyone. I’m Wu’er. Thank you for your support.” She waved as she greeted the audience with a smile.

Such a gentle voice. It was even gentler than the regular childlike voice, which immediately caused howls to go up amongst the crowd as their excitement overwhelmed them.

Wu’er voice was truly her specialty. It was easily able to charm a person’s heart. A lot of them that watched her live stream did not even bother looking at the screen. It was sufficient to just listen to her voice. Some of them would even let the voice from the live stream lull them into a slumber.

“Wah, such an angelic voice. Even as a woman, I can’t help but feel my body melt,” the emcee said with a smile, “Earlier Goddess Coold had told us about her criteria on choosing a partner. I wonder what’s Goddess Wu’er’s criteria for a partner?”

“I don’t think it can be considered a standard. It’s fine as long as I like him,” Wu’er replied.

On the big screen, the team names were cycled through one by one. Many teams registered and it would be picked from one of them.

However, the emcees were good at increasing the suspense as both of them went back and forth.

The emcee, the crowd, and even the hosts were similarly stunned.

“Shameful. This is too embarrassing. They won’t force me on the stage, right? My honor will be soiled!” Little Gen’s face turned dark. “Xiang, you’ve hidden yourself too deep!”

“I didn’t expect to be picked with this many people,” Xiang was speechless too as he forced out a reply. “Ye’zi, what do you think?”

Ye Lingchen was already running out of retorts. He quickly tightened the mask on his face and took a deep breath, then helplessly answered, “What else can we do now? Get ready.”

“We’re really going? I think we’ll be toyed with.” Potato scratched his head with a bitter expression.

“Why don’t we try to hide…?”

“It seems this team’s members are a little shy. Let us welcome the five of them!” Along with the emcee’s voice, a light from the stage shined onto Ye Lingchen’s group.

They were speechless.

Without them knowing, a ring of emptiness formed around all five of them as countless eyes focused on them. It was accompanied by whistling sounds and laughter.

It was obvious that their conversation earlier was overheard by the crowd.
