“Let’s go, I’ll teach you something cool today,” Ye Lingchen said with a smile.

Little Green and Little Gray jumped around Ye Lingchen excitedly and called out non-stop.

“Dad, two bad guys came last night and I fought them off.”

“Dog fart! I was the one who chased them away. Who can stand up to my Peach-Stealing Paw?”

“Funny! Do you take my Canine Thousand-Year Killing Technique for a joke?”

“The point is, I was the one who tore off all their clothes, wasn’t I? They ran away naked, hahaha…”

“I was the one who ripped their pants, okay.”

Little Green and Little Gray discussed their great achievements and were still arguing about it. Seeing as they were getting louder and more outrageous, Ye Lingchen stopped them at once.

In fact, he did sense what happened the night before with his keen five senses. However, Zhang Yunxi was sleeping next to him so he considered it a trivial matter. Little Green and Little Gray could deal with that kind of thing so he did not bother to get out of bed.

“You did well last night. As a reward, I will teach you something interesting.”

As they talked, he and his two wolves had already reached the lake in the park.

Ye Lingchen’s eyes lit up when he saw a small boat floating in the middle of the lake. It appeared that there was more than one group present to make the attack. Ye Lingchen could probably guess the reason that the troop left the boat and ran away.

The next moment, waves began to form on the lake water and the old tortoise swam up from the bottom of the lake.

“Next up, the three of you must practice according to the method I’ve instructed. You can’t slack off for even one day. Don’t be lazy, understand?” Ye Lingchen made a direct command to the two wolves and the tortoise.

He naturally wanted to train them based on his Animal Taming (Intermediate) knowledge.

Since the old tortoise had lived for a very long time, it was inherently able to absorb spiritual energy, though it was limited to his inherent abilities. That would be the equivalent of a blind man groping around wildly, and it was certainly not going to be as effective as a formal training method.

Once they saw Ye Lingchen’s seriousness, the old tortoise calmed down along with the two wolves. They did not dare to anger their master, and they worked very hard under Ye Lingchen’s training.

After teaching some of the basics, Ye Lingchen allowed them to familiarize themselves with it. Then, he made his body into a posture right on the spot and began practicing his Arhat Fist Force (Intermediate).

They trained for an entire morning, or one hour to be exact, but Little Green and Little Gray were extremely fatigued. On the other hand, Old Tortoise felt that he had benefited a lot because of his foundation and was thus extremely excited.

After heading back to the house, Zhang Yunxi had already prepared breakfast and was waiting happily for Ye Lingchen to return.

Other than Miyako who had to endure the couple’s affectionate displays, the breakfast was a rather cordial and warm one. Zhang Yunxi then brought Miyako to Y Cosmetics after breakfast. Ye Lingchen went out as well, but the place he went to was a teahouse.

By the time Ye Lingchen arrived, Jia Di and another young man were already sitting there waiting for him.

“Grandmaster Ye, you’re here,” Jia Di immediately stood up and greeted Ye Lingchen respectfully.

“Hello, Grandmaster Jia.” Ye Lingchen nodded in response, though his gaze fell on the young man beside Jia Di.

The young man had a high nose bridge and sunken eyes. He was not that handsome but was nonetheless well worth a second look.

He was wearing a dark blazer with a dark red tie, dark blue trousers, and shiny leather shoes. It was evident that he was a very particular person.

He was an upright and spirited individual.

“This is the young director of Vatti, Young Master Ma Ding,” Jia Di immediately introduced the young man to Ye Lingchen.

Ye Lingchen cocked his brow slightly. The young director of Vatti would be the son of Vatti’s CEO. In that case, the young man was definitely the stereotypical rich kid.

“Grandmaster Ye, it’s an honor to meet you. You’re younger than I thought.” Ma Ding stretched out his hand amicably toward Ye Lingchen.

“Hello, Young Master Ma.” Ye Lingchen smiled and the two of them shook hands.

After a simple greeting, they went straight to the topic.

“Chairman Jia has brought up Grandmaster Ye’s proposal. It’s a very overbearing proposal.” Ma Ding smiled and spoke in a flat tone, though it had a hint of aggressiveness.

“But it’s also very beneficial to Vatti, isn’t it?” Ye Lingchen responded with a question.

“Under favorable conditions, yes. Do you think your ideas can succeed?” Ma Ding stared right at Ye Lingchen.

Ye Lingchen’s expression remained indifferent. He shrugged and said, “I believe Grandmaster Jia has told you a lot about me. I don’t need to say anything more about Vatti’s sales recently, do I? If Young Master Ma doesn’t trust me, then I won’t force the cooperation. We can just terminate it.”

“Grandmaster Ye, this is no trivial matter. I can’t call the shots here, so that’s why Young Master Ma was invited. I wonder if you can tell us about the specifics?” Jia Di beat around the bush from the side.

Ye Lingchen looked at Jia Di and pondered for a moment. He then took out a drawing. “Alright, this is the design of the bag I came up with. It’s an entire set: purse, handbag, and satchel.”

He was not afraid of Vatti stealing his ideas because the design was based on the giant python’s skin. The material used was very demanding.

Jia Di took the drawing but handed it directly to Ma Ding, prompting Ye Lingchen to wrinkle his brows slightly.

“Grandmaster Ye, Young Master Ma majored in fashion design and he studied abroad for four years. He has a very unique perspective in this regard.”

It was only when Ye Lingchen listened to Jia Di’s explanation that his brows relaxed. He then glanced at Young Master Ma again, who was busy concentrating.

In fact, many rich kids were not as unbearable as the rumors depicted. Spendthrifts existed, but they were in the minority. He was quite skeptical when Jia Di told him about it.

“It’s just…” Ma Ding paused, then continued, “Is Grandmaster Ye sure that this design can be realized? Does the giant python’s skin have such tenacity?”

In respect to Ye Lingchen’s design, it was impossible for ordinary materials to be molded into the shape needed to realize his idea.

“Yes! And it’s only this giant python’s skin that will do the job!” Ye Lingchen’s eyes had a plain and rather calm expression. “Do you feel that we can continue with our cooperation, Young Master Ma?”
