“Oh? The Lu family is really imposing it seems!”

A low voice boomed across from the door, accompanied by the sounds of laid-back footsteps.

Lu Tianxiong’s heart skipped a beat upon hearing that voice.

When he saw the figure that reached the door, it sent a shiver across his entire body. His pupils tightened, giving him a shocked look. 

Ye Lingchen similarly looked outside.

Lin Shanhe came in person, with others from the Lin family behind him.

That included Lin Ruoyu and Lin Ao.

They strolled in casually as if taking a walk around a park, paying no heed to the bodyguards with machetes.

Lu Tianxiong, who was acting high and mighty just a moment before, put on the biggest smile he could and approached with the intention to brown-nose his new guests.

“Mr. Lin, what brings you here? If I knew that you will be visiting, I would’ve prepared the best banquet to greet you with. Please forgive me for the lack of preparation.”

Lu Hao, on the other hand, kept his body bent and lowered his head, being exceptionally humble.

He may act with impunity, but he was not stupid. As the sole heir of Lu Group, he was well educated, especially on interpersonal skills.

Otherwise, he would still empty his family coffers no matter how big it was.

“Ba, I didn’t know that he was Grandmaster Ye! If I had known, I wouldn’t have dared to even let out a fart in front of him even if you gave me all the courage in the world!” Lu Hao was petrified by fear. His eyes teared up, and his face filled with hopelessness.
