“At this point, Huo Yuanjia should be young and arrogant. How would it be possible for him to only use words to lecture his students? No matter how fierce you get, you will not produce that sense of awe! Since it’s an action film, the characters should be portrayed through actions!”

He looked around, then pointed, “Go get that training dummy over here.”

It was brought over immediately while Li Tai was watching from the side.

“Big Brother Li, your acting skills are good, but your understanding of the character is still slightly lacking. Huo Yuanjia’s personality is throughout the various points in his life. I will be Huo Yuanjia and demonstrate it for you guys.”

The disciple immediately raised his hand.

Following that, he walked up to another disciple’s side, “Block again!”

With another fist, he sent that disciple flying!

After that, his legs shot out like the wind, sending two disciples half kneeling on the floor!

Finishing his speech, he walked up to the training dummy and lashed out with a punch!

A hole was punched through the dummy!

Although it was only a short scene, Ye Lingchen managed to fully display Huo Yuanjia’s arrogance and when matched with the actions, it carved the essence of Kungfu into the hearts of the viewers, making it much more convincing than just simple words.

“Young Master Ye is our investor cum martial arts instructor. In the future, anything to do with the action scenes you can ask for his help,” Li Tai introduced him to everyone.

“Young Master Ye, your acting skills are much greater than mine. I…” Compared to the rest, Li Jing felt more impressed than surprised.

What does the audience need the most? It’s the sense of immersion. That was solely based on acting skills!

At that moment, Li Jing almost thought that Ye Lingchen was Huo Yuanjia himself. He felt as though he had returned to that era. Every movement, every word, and the tone, even his gaze had portrayed the character to the dot.

“Acting is all about getting yourself into character. Read the script more and imagine yourself as Huo Yuanjia.” Ye Lingchen tapped Li Jing’s shoulders, laughing. “You can do it!”
