The five demonic emperors were all in their human forms, lying down. The white jade platform would not be able to hold their true forms without exposing them to the storm outside.

“Perhaps they’re still in the chamber?” Wu Yu mused. It was unknown.

But if he could not break the crystal coffin, then it hardly mattered where the waiting game was held.

He was surprised that he had escaped from one trap only to be in another trap. The only consolation was that the others were similarly trapped.

He had seen three demonic emperors enter. This meant that the other two must have come in earlier.

He relaxed a little. Perhaps they had to all wake up before the next round would begin.

Of course, he did not relax too much. He continued to try various ways of breaking out, and even pulled out the bronze pendant. He only gave it up after three years, when he had tried everything he had.

With the five demonic emperors awake, the odds did not look good for Wu Yu, even if they were all unable to converse.

Finally, only Wu Jun remained asleep. Wu Yu could tell from the looks in their eyes that the demonic emperors fully intended to kill Wu Yu as soon as possible.

The crystal coffins were yet to open, but once they did, Wu Yu was in trouble.

“It’s starting.” Wu Yu warned. He saw that the other crystal coffins were beginning to evaporate. At this rate, the crystal coffins would vanish in less than a day’s time.

And at that time, it would be him and Wu Jun versus the five demonic emperors.

Wu Jun was still disoriented as he woke, but there was probably still a day’s time before the crystal coffins fully vanished. He soon had a grasp fo the situation, and a sober expression marked his understanding.

It was going to be a straight fight from hereon!

Wu Yu had expected something like this. Once everyone was ready, the crystal coffin would have them kill each other.

On the other side was Wu Yu and Wu Jun. They occupied one corner of the white jade platform for now, facing off against the five demonic emperors.

They did not fight immediately. After all, this was a strange place, and they were waiting to see what else might happen. Everyone tread cautiously.

Wu Jun took the opportunity to ask Wu Yu: “How do you feel? Can we take them?”

Wu Yu shook his head. “Not very confident, but there’s nothing else to do but try. They can’t change to their true forms for now, which means their maximum strength can’t be unleashed. Even with five of them, they might not be able to take us down quickly.”

That is the Death Valley Flame, its destructive force is unparalleled. And the sleet is Eternal Night Frost. Even an eternal immortal emperor would be frozen solid upon touching it. Finally, that is Karma’s Lightning, which can strike directly at your immortal spirit.”

Having come from the sky palaces, Wu Jun could recognize these things.

Wu Yu nodded. “Got it. No touchy touchy.”

Otherwise he would be deady deady.

The situation was getting awkward. Everyone was on guard against something else happening, but some time had passed and nothing ellse was happening. The five demonic emperors could wait no longer.

“Let’s take them down first, and talk later.”

The five demonic emperors agreed, and headed for Wu Yu’s corner.

Metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. The five elemental heavenly rule powers came surging towards them. Luckily they were not in their true forms, or Wu Yu would be reduced to dust!

The fatal attacks were about to connect. At this crucial moment, Wu Yu and Wu Jun could not afford to let it touch them. They had to dodge preemptively.

Wu Jun was first to act. He used his Primordial Immortal Dragon heavenly rule power to carry him to a different location.

Wu Yu was rather calm at this time, and he left a remnant shadow in his original position as they left. He used Fulgurating Shadows to create a small path through the void, and avoided the attacks of the five.
