Jiang Yuning lowered his eyes.

As he stayed silent, Nian Xi forced herself to stand up and said, “I’m going downstairs.”

The breakfast was served, yet Jiang Yuning was still upstairs.

Uncle Han went up to find him.

He was silently sitting on the bed. As Uncle Han went into the room, he said frustratedly, “I know you want me to have the breakfast, but I have no appetite. As they arrived at the airport and prepared to check-in, a group of police officers came over. The leader of the group was a French policeman. He said, “Mr. Jiang, Langyi Oda from Japan has reported a case. You are suspected of plagiarizing his work. Please come with us. We’ll make things clear.”

Everyone was shocked. Nian Xi said with anger, “Langyi Oda stole his work. Didn’t you see the report that Mr. Jiang published on the website this morning?”

The group of French policemen glanced at each other, then responded with, “Sorry, we didn’t see it.”

Nian Xi turned to Jiang Yuning and asked him, “Didn’t you say that you’d publish it this morning?”

“Those people are so shameless.” Nian Xi clenched her fists and said, “I wonder if they’ll torture him illegally in the police station.”
