When she walked to the door, the young man followed behind her. She turned to him and said, “Don’t follow me. Wait here at the police station for your family to come.”

Jiang Yuning looked down and wrote, “The station is dirty. I don’t want to stay here.”

Nian Xi sighed. “You don’t have a choice. You don’t even want to tell me your name. I can’t look for your family, so you have to stay here for now.”

“Go follow someone else, then. Why do you have to follow me? Look over there. My colleague has been staring at you for the longest time now. You can go follow her.” Nian Xi waved him away.

She decided to help him out since he was so good looking. She didn’t think it was appropriate for her to bring a stranger home at night, so she decided to drive him to Tianhu Villa instead.

Only Sister Lan was in the living room. She was shocked to see Nian Xi bring another man there. Nian Xi had to explain everything to her before asking, “Where are my brother and Luosang? Shouldn’t they come down and welcome their guests?”

“They’re upstairs.”

“I’ll go up, then.” Nian Xi was quickly stopped by Sister Lan as she said, flustered, “Don’t go up. They’re probably… doing it at this hour.”

Sister Lan hid her grin. “They’re youthful and energetic. You will know what it’s like once you marry Mr. Feng.”

Nian Xi’s face turned dark at the mention of Ji Chuan. After tonight, she decided that she should call it quits with him. She couldn’t compromise for the rest of her life. It would only bring them both more pain in the future.

Suddenly, someone tugged her arm. Jiang Yuning passed her a note that read, “What are they doing?”

How was she supposed to respond to that? Does he have to pretend to be so innocent and pure? Does he really not know about these things? Nian Xi thought.

“Why should I tell you? Go figure it out yourself,” Nian Xi said awkwardly.

He wrote, “I should consult others humbly whenever I am at a loss.”

Jiang Yuning froze for a second before his cheeks turned pink. He nodded and wrote, “I understand now.”

Sister Lan was munching on some sunflower seeds, and she would occasionally remark to herself, “So good looking,” as she stared at the young man. She turned to tell Nian Xi, “The more I look at him, the more good looking he gets.”

Nian Xi was speechless. “Sister Lan, I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of good looking men in your life. You’re working for my brother, and you see him day in day out, after all. Don’t you have any bit of immunity to this guy?”
