“Are you going to visit your father in jail in the afternoon?” Ji Nuanyi asked.

“It’s a little out of the way from here. I was planning to head down tomorrow. I’ll… go back to my old villa in the afternoon,” Luosang said sadly.

She stood outside quietly staring at the building as the past flashed before her eyes. Suddenly, her eyes welled up with tears.

Someone opened the gates of the house, and she quickly turned to leave. The person called out to her, “Luosang?”

She turned to see Zeng Zhun. Her face was aghast, and she quickened her pace.

“Luosang, wait up!” Zeng Zhun caught up with her.

Luosang turned and said coldly, “What are you doing here? Is Yi Jingxi here as well?”

“He’s not here. He doesn’t have time to come back, especially with what’s happening to the company.” Zeng Zhun laughed bitterly. “I’m only back to fetch some things for him.”

“My house was sold to Yi Jingxi?” Luosang asked in disbelief.
