Yan Su felt like a roasted fish on a hot grill. There was a fire burning beneath her; she was hot all over but at the same time, anxious. The only time they did it was when they were both wasted and she was uninhibited. Now that they were both sober, she was a little nervous.

“Liuxi, do you know our daughter’s name?” Yan Su tried to change the topic.

“I know, you mentioned — Yan Yan.” Mo Liuxi raised his chin. “It’s a pretty name.”

“But if we are going to change her name… she will be called Mo Yan,” Yan Su said with amusement and watched his reaction.

“It doesn’t matter, she can have your last name,” answered Mo Liuxi in a split second.

Yan Su blinked in disbelief. She couldn’t believe that he agreed to it so easily. Most men out there would insist that the children take their last name.

“Anyway… this won’t be only our child, right?” Mo Liuxi inched towards her slowly with a mischievous look on his handsome face. He had managed to trap Yan Su between the coffee table and himself.

Yan Su was burning hot all over as she looked into his intense gaze. “You mean… you want more kids?”

“Not necessarily. It doesn’t matter to me. One is good enough but I’d be happy to have more children. I can afford it anyway.” Mo Liuxi sounded relaxed and confident. “It depends on you. We are still young after all. You might want another a few years down the road.”

“Who says that I want to have your children?” Yan Su was embarrassed by the conversation that they were having — they weren’t even married yet, and there they were talking about the prospect of having a second child. She reached out to cover his mouth and she looked down bashfully.

Mo Liuxi grinned and in one swift motion, scooped her up and walked towards the bedroom.

Yan Su was shocked. She was frozen stiff.

“Are you a frozen fish?” Mo Liuxi teased her after putting her on the bed gently. “Where did all your bravado go from that night when you pounced on me?”

Yan Su was embarrassed. He knew that it would make her flustered. “Well… I was drunk that night. Liuxi, let’s talk about this…”

“Hold up.” Mo Liuxi was on top of her and propped himself up on his hands. “Susu, there’s no way I’m letting you off easy tonight. I’ve waited too long for this, and I had a hard time finding you. You were way too harsh and hurtful over the phone the last time and you hurt my pride. I swore that I was going to prove myself to you.”

“… Alright.” Yan Su nodded her head. She had no choice but to submit to him. “I think we can talk about the duration a little more. It doesn’t have to be four days and four nights, right? Look, I was ranked seventh this round. I have to work hard for the competition, or else I will be eliminated for sure.”

“Susu…” Mo Liuxi looked at her intently. “Under those circumstances, you blurted that out without even thinking twice. Yan Su was silent.

Yan Su regretted her words. She wanted to bite her tongue off. She practically dug a hole for herself. “Alright, let’s compromise. I’ll make it up to you after the competition — four days and four nights. You know what, I’ll throw in another day as a bonus.”

“You want to spend five days and five nights together?” Mo Liuxi tried to control his composure. For some reason, his legs went a little shaky.

“Yeah, what do you think? You must be thrilled.” Yan Su blinked her eyes innocently.
